Honestly...I'm legit mad they waited so long for a sequel. Cause we ALL wanted to Boseman get a chance to really shine in the role. I thought he did great in the role and understood the character choices because they were building it up.

Just fukkin sad man.

I dont want to get too into the politics because I'm still in shock and grief over Chad, but the whole way Marvel handled BP infuriates me. From Ike, to the character being an after thought allowed to shine only bc of the Spiderman/Sony deal breaking down, then the shytty B-team CGI given to the solo movie, then practically jack shyt to do in Infinity War and End Game, and then what was going to be a 4 year wait til the sequel...

Jesus fukkin christ man. It was always something... but let's keep it a buck, as long as we had Chadwick and Coogler, it felt like it'd only be a matter of time before we got through the bullshyt. And we would be rewarded.

But now this just feels so deflating.

You could like I suggested bring back Killmonger, and build a redemption arc and make him BP. But I think Michael B. would pass and want to honor Chadwick's memory as BP.

I disagree

I think he would be BP if offered the opportunity.

The only movie news that could really lift my spirits is if guys like Denzel and Delroy Lindo, etc did sign up for the sequel to honor Chad in some way.

Even then nothing will change the fact that he was going to be THE GUY to run the MCU. He was going to branch off and do so many great things in film and in more importantly LIFE.

I legit have trouble sleeping right now. I got nephews and young sibling who idolized HIM in that role. Got damn shame to explain what happened :snoop::to:

Not to be unfeeling but I think the most positive way to keep the series going is to have Shuri take over the role as she did in the comics. That might have been the plan down the road but you can’t simply replace him like they did War Machine and act like it’s business as usual. The man was the face of a billion dollar franchise. This is just...... 2020 wtf

Killmonger was a great villain, but bringing him back to be BP is wack from a story standpoint, no thank you..Shuri would make a lot more sense even if at this point she isn’t seen as a warrior yet

they still have Lupita's character as an option too.

Dani Gurira is my pick if the mantle is passed to a woman. I don't know about star power like Lupita, but she stole every scene she was in in the first movie and her action scenes look believable. And dope. You actually believe she'd kick people's. asses

Note that he visited those kids in 2018 shortly after the movie came out.

Ppl were clowning about him being so tired of the Wakanda salute when really he was tired from battling stage 3 colon cancer inbetween filming and press tours... yet still found the time to visit these kids man.

I've been gettin flashes of anger and tears last few hours man. Dude was our "Christoper Reeves" but with an even greater importance, but he got snuffed out way too son.

I'm overseas in the middle east and we're 8 hours ahead of yall, so I've basically been a zombie all day. This helpless feeling ain't cool

this is actually a great pick, it makes sense given her background and how close they were
