wouldn't be mad if they elevated Okoye as the new BP. Or just say Killmonger survived this whole time. I would imagine Marvel already has some all this worked out.

There's some hard choices to be made. But some options. Shuri could be BP.

You could like I suggested bring back Killmonger, and build a redemption arc and make him BP. But I think Michael B. would pass and want to honor Chadwick's memory as BP.

You could also take Daniel Kaluuya's character (who is in prison) and build a redemption arc for him, and make him the new BP.

And then there's the recast, ala SPARTACUS. I know the recast in Spartacus was controversial with fans, but the new Spartacus grew on me overtime. But I think they stay away from that, and just bring in a NEW BP not recast.

It's gonna be interesting to see what happens.

No way they recast or have MBJ as the new BP, it's Shuri or bust.

I don't see MBJ doing it anyways and recasting could end everything. All it takes is the audience not feeling the new actor and it's a wrap.

spartacus my fav show technically they did that gannicus arc and then when andy died they did the recast.
Its tough chadwick was black panther the accent, the swag everything. If they recast that person gotta be friggin denzel or some ish cuz they won't be able to measure up. Going the shuri route would prob be best

The real question for me is would they be brazen enough to use CGI/the tech they used to create a young Princess Leia to produce T’Challa scenes. Superimposing his face on another actors body.

There's millions of black kids devastated right now. They finally got an entire world of characters that looked like them that they could idolize and emulate and celebrate. If just for them, the story of Wakanda, the vibrancy, and the spirit, and FUN that soothes the soul and sparks the imagination must continue to live on. Wakanda Forever.

Whatever story they do must be written with a deft and sensitive hand. Anything less is a failure.

Ledger died after he was finished shooting, not years before it was supposed to be filmed

but this is different. The mantle of black panther isn’t regulated to one person.

The mantle can be held by more than one person. Multiple people can hold it. It’s a question of who can they cast at this point.

my guess is it would be a relative who was off screen in the movie. They could’ve been a teenager in infinity war and 7 years older after the snap. They would nail the casting tho.
