Avengers compound
The way marvel doing black panther is sad as hell
Honestly yea clearly they didn't expect a billie which is understandable because you just never know. It just sucks because they couldn't even fix infinity war or endgame to help out Panther since they film everything so close.

Yea, it was obvious the Russos had no idea how the suit worked in Infinity War, so they had random purple energy popup every time he punched a goon before showing him get "overwhelmed" by goons before Thor showed up. Also Wakandan warriors having nothing hightech but gun spears...

Now it was obvious in End Game that the muthafukkers were like "ohhhhh" because they actually had BP's suit discharge energy the way it was intended, which simultaneously showed why he could never get "overwhelmed" by basic goons to begin with. Also had him scooby snack Thanos's weapon attack, whereas in Infinty War they had him get ko'd by a punch.

Unfortunately all of that happened in just a 30 second piece of a 2.5 hour movie that he was only in for about 1 minute total. It actually pissed me off that BP never got any offense against Thanos. And that they had a fight sceen between him and Ebony Maw that they cut out.

And they had a great scene where BP and Hulk intentionally trade punches, like All Might vs Noumu, and then BP uses his stored up energy from that to one hitter quitter a flying leviathan serpent.. as a call back to what Hulk did in Avengers 1. That shyt would've been CRAZY to see.

But they cut that shyt out :francis:

Yep, they did drop the ball but I have no doubt they’ll go all out for BP2 so much so I think it’ll get a major Avengers level budget/marketing. I also think T’Challa or Shuri will start popping up in the 2021 movies. I also believe the rumors that Doom somehow makes an appearance & that Namor will be an antagonist. They just got to make sure the turn around from BP2 to BP3 isn’t as empty. At least give us some Disney+ shows in between.

The Russo's still have the best interpretation of the Black Panther in the movies so far so I can forgive them not caring about that power. Especially cause the purple blast thing is corny. Reminds me of the Wonder Woman blast thing she does in the movies when she clinks her bracelets.

It feels like the purple blast thing was only introduced to sell toys and to get around having to do real fight choreography.

I'd rather Black Panther stick to good fight choreo, genius tactician moves, and some Afro-futuristic tech.

Nah I actually like that shyt lol; it's not either/or with fight choreo, tech, tacts, and the grape drip because it all flows together when done right. The best scene they cut from end game involved BP being tactical with the drip

I'm onboard with that interpretation bc that's just bad ass. Cinematic.

I dont forgive the Russos for barely using him, being too lazy to interpret his shyt right, and then cutting out his 2 big fight scenes. I give Coogler more forgiveness tbh, despite the issues I have with it

exactly breh the Russo's missed the boat with T'challa / black panther two straight movie's t'challa was the only mane avenger's character to not get any offense in on Thanos goofy ass star lord even got offense in on Thanos

if cap got to put up a decent skillful fight with the power of Thor against Thones the first half of the big climax fight why couldn't T'challa put up a skillfull fight with the power The hulk against Thones the second half of the big climax fight
hulk hard daping up T'challa to charge up his suit would have been like the MCU version of
giphy.gif

if T'challa could have looked this skillful against Thones before the suit runs out of gamma energy :whew: all would have been forgiven for how T'challa / wakanda was treated in infinity wars

i remember having debate on a message board about T'challa's skillset/tech/powers in The MCU and being overpowered people being worried about him being overpowered and i am like so you guy's are going to be cool with black panther only being a hawkeye level of help the big avengers climax battle's right and dude's talking about T'challa's a strategic genius in battle and I'm like cap is to be a strategic genius to and henever does any thing smart or clever strategy whys in any of the avengers climax battle's the problem with a character being a strategic genius is he is only going to be as smart/clever as the writer's writing him and if the writer are not very smart/clever nether is the character

that's why part of me is low key hoping for namor or doom for the villain in black panther 2 to force an upgrade in his power level's
