This is where “black don’t crack” will immensely help Boseman as he’ll stay looking younger than a lot of his white counterparts. The big issue with Bosemans age to me is if they cast the X-Men relatively young I can’t see a Storm & T’Challa relationship happening in the MCU.
Storm prolly gonna end up with Shuri. You know how they like to make the black folks gay first.

Marvel didn't capitalize on Black Panther's hype. The IW/Endgame fallout kinda just had him "there"

I'll also say if that was the route they were always going then Feige should have instructed Coogler to make T'Challa make dynamic in the 1st movie. It was ok being the film was setting up a lot and about the king finding himself. However, this downtime after IW/Endgame...I rarely hear about him. Doctor Strange is getting more hype.

You can definitely tell they weren’t expecting the first one to be as successful as it was. There should’ve been MULTIPLE Wakanda spin-offs in the works with how well it did at the box office. The problem is T’Challa & Shuri both being dusted made it almost so they have to re-establish what’s going on in Wakanda since the snap. Still something like an Okeye Disney+ show should’ve happened.

Yep.

2022 is a LONG TIME

Could have Okoye doing missions in a Disney+ show taking place after the snap. Could have W'Kabi escaping and she needing to get him. Plus you could feature M'Baku.

Such a missed opportunity

No matter your feelings on IW. Black Panther was merely meant as a setup for 3rd act destruction scene.

Plus they killed off a popular villian. Could've did a Killmonger spin off in the meantime too.

I still think a Killmonger prequel would be emmy worthy. Flashbacks with Sterling K/N'Jobu. Navigating the CIA and Klaue's crew :whoo:

Its just a shame they didn't capitalize on the BP momentum.

T'Challa's not in a movie until 2022. No Wakanda related stuff until 2022. Story wise they got Coogler in a position where he's gotta start over. Hype wise...lets hope the public is craving BP2. Right now it seems outta sight outta mind.

Dead characters Loki/Black Widow getting more shine :bryan:

It's crazy because her MCU look is a realistic take on Stillfreeze's design, so i had been hoping they'd have her a blank slate, as they were exploring her in the comics. Then MCU Shuri drops, and...her she is in the 616. I dropped it after issue 11. Did she keep her new powerset, or is she still just Riri light? BTW, I loved Eve Ewing's characterization of her in Ironheart. She kept her hot-headed, brash personality.

She still has her powers in Coates books, but intergalactic empire of Wakanda has been pretty light with Shuri and the Empire being from the future is more advanced then Wakanda Prime anyway. In her solo for some reason she lost her power or something and had to use more TechNOLOOgy..
