Now they want to release it
Movie should’ve cleared $1 billion on the strength of the numbers it did domestically.
This is the only blockbuster that relies heavily on domestic gross carrying the world wide gross.
I don't like the Krakoa era if X-Men, but I'm in the minority. Most people love it
-I just started trying to catch up on my comics & started with X-Men, is this run worth reading?
I told y'all Sam wasn't getting shytNate said that bullshyt about Sam needs to go through the ringer to earn the shieldThen what the fukk was the point in the Falcon and Winter Soldier shown for? Steve didn't go through any ringer. He got snuffed in an alley and the scientist already had him as the prized choice
I don't like Wakanda Forever but we can't call it rushed when they delayed it for 2 yearsThe movie should have been delayed, and they shouldn't have rushed to get it out due to circumstances with Chadwick. They could have done the Wakanda TV show first during that time. T'Challa shouldn't have been killed off. Since they said he was sick with an illness in the film, they could have froze him like they did Bucky in the post-credit scene in Captain America Civil War, which would explain why he is not in the show or to show they are trying to find a cure for him. Or they could have a redemption story using the W'Kabi character, played by Daniel Kaluuya, to redeem himself to Wakanda to take on Namor in Wakanda Forever. Coogler should have waited for him until he was available to be in the movie. It's fiction; they could have created a more creative story, then a few years go by, and they bring back T'Challa with the new actor.
Marvel/Disney chose to rush the movie and to cash out while using Chadwick's death to help sell the tickets for the film. The wrong move, in my opinion overall.
Nah you don't get to have it both ways. Y'all love giving a fukk about something until somebody criticizes or disagrees now you're suddenly above it allyou're in a discussion thread in a sub forum of a hip hop message board discussing a comic book movie but trying to be the cool kid because nikkas got opinionsOr just think it's a movie and don't
get our panties in a bunch over fictional characters.
I'm all for legitimate criticism but it has gone past that in people are harping on something like it is life or death when like 7-10 years ago no one talked about it like that. Why the huge jump in importance?Nah you don't get to have it both ways. Black folks love being above it all and standing on invisible moral high grounds while getting dikked around. Media is the most powerful shyt in the world and everybody understands this deeply with the exception of us apparently. a movie is never just a movie. Fictional characters matter a great deal otherwise nikkas wouldn't spent billions of dollars to bring them to life on screen
Nikkas have legitimate criticisms about this movie and the portrayal of black male MCU characters and without fail some of y'all can't help but automatically go the manufacturered aloofness, "it's not that serious" route the second your views get challenged. That's middle school shyt
