I honestly hope that's the way they go with it. They could have it that T'Challa still occasionally does some designs of his own and Shuri keeps it competitive with upgrading upon them. I could see them having that be their thing between movies too.
Same here. In a way, I think Coogler gotta be a bit more selfish with T'Challa next go around, without losing the ensemble cast atmopshere he established.

The first movie shared the wealth a lot to create that inclusive environment [in the comics BP directly commands the Doras, BP is the tech genius and innovator, etc] and although i thought it played out very well in the movie, we've heard some of the feedback bordering from ungrateful to just pure :mjpls: opportunists tryna get him outta there lol.

Granted that's a small section of the innantez making a bigger deal out of it than it really is, but if that's a general vibe that's out there, then i'd like to see some subtle moves to course correct a bit.

I liked that hinted at the sky bike in the first movie,so I'm not worried about that. I don't mind the wakanda buster armor as long as they don't job it out like they in the comics. That suit better be 10 x more effective then Tony suit in aou.
Exactly. I liked the design and features Greg Pak had for the wakandan hulk buster, but ultimately none of that shyt matters if his pet character is going to tear through it in one hit. It pretty much makes the whole suit/concept useless. Vibranium [if that was vibranium] is supposed to be much more durable than that.

If it is introduced in the movies then it's definitely gotta be unique in what it does and not just a carbon copy of Stark's. I wouldn't be surprised if they called it the thrice blessed armor, to use one of the terms from Hudlin's run.

Who knows what all that fox/merger stuff will mean as far as the next few years, but if Dr. Doom were to be introduced in the MCU, I'd like to run back the BP/Doom beef in the comics [but this time with a black writer...] so to give Coogler much better material to pull from for a cinematic adaptation

'Black Panther's White Wolf Twist Surprised Sebastian Stan

At the end of the movie, Shuri (Letitia Wright) went out to a hut in a remote part of Wakanda, and met with the Winter Soldier himself, Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan). While the scene itself was expected by many, the big surprise came when Bucky was referred to as "White Wolf," hinting that he could be a major part of the Black Panther story in the future.

This moment was such a curveball that Sebastian Stan himself, who has played Bucky since 2011, had no idea that it was coming.

During the Avengers: Infinity War press tour, Stan sat down to speak with Kinoetter along with co-stars Tom Hiddleston and Letitia Wright. While the group was talking about Marvel secrets, and hidden connections to comics, the interviewer brought up the fact that, because of his past, the former Winter Soldier might know more than anyone else in the MCU.

Stan took this time to reveal that he's actually kept in the dark quite often and that many things in the MCU still catch him by surprise, including that big Black Panther reveal.

"Now, talking about comic books and merging them with the MCU, I want to go back and revisit the Black Panther comics because of the White Wolf situation," Stan said. "And that's a whole different line, so I didn't even see that really going that way and understanding what that could be. But it's really clever the way they do it, if you think about it. I look at that and go, 'Of course. That makes sense, that feels well.' I don't know how they think about it."

Not only did Stan seem surprised by the White Wolf name drop, but he definitely embraced the idea of really following that character's storyline as the MCU continues.

For those who aren't familiar, the White Wolf is a character in Black Panther comics. A white infant survived a plane crash in Wakanda, long before T'Challa was born. King T'Chaka decided to raise him as his own. This young boy grew up as T'Challa's brother, but always felt like an outcast, which lead to a divide between them. Knowing that the boy could never become the Black Panther, T'Chaka dubbed him White Wolf and put him in charge of a secret police force that operated on the outskirts of Wakanda.

Lol all Fiege told Bucky was dress up in a robe and say thank you to Shuri :pachaha:

I read it was Coogler’s idea to put Bucky in the after credits.
:ohhh:

Well shoot, in that case I wonder how involved Ryan was in mapping out the inevitable trilogy. Fiege said there's a planned path for the character but he also said that he tells the directors to put everything into the first movie because you're not always guaranteed a second. <-- likely based on if the movie doesn't perform well.

So if Ryan's making the call on White Wolf, either that was simply a nice Easter egg or he's in the know along with Fiege, the Russos, etc
