There IS no one else suitable Besides T’Challa or Shuri.

Name one. ONE MCU movie that completely made up a brand new hero that took the place not within canon.


Any Black Panther not named T’Challa or Shuri will flop horribly

ITS NOT A NEW HERO- its just a new person taking the mantle- AGAIN the MCU dont give a shyt about following every letter of the comic books...
and btw Trevor Slatery was totally made up by the MCU as part of the Mandarin storyline

I honestly dont want them recasting this role honestly if thats selfish of me so be it. Id rather killmonger come back (they can say captain america going back in time changed the past and it affected the future) in the new timeline killmonger is accepted into wakanda and him and tchalla have a rivalry as kids and when t' challa is felled he takes over but he uses a different identity or name not black panther

Love Coogler as a director, but I sometimes wonder/fear that he might just be an agreeable dude. I'm talking in terms of loyalty to others. I know he fought for his collaborators to join the MCU.

However, will he fight or push back for T'Challa? Or will he just roll with it on Shuri or another direction?

Its not a character he grew up loving (like that) so he might be ok with the changes. If he demands its T'Challa...they'll make it T'Challa. However, if somebody is in his ear about Shuri...I could see him rolling with it.

That's my concern as well. The whole T'Challa/Chad thing is similar to when a wealthy supposedly beloved dude dies yet ppl were sharpening their knives for his inheritance long before his death.

Ppl were clamoring for Shuri to take over, for Storm to takeover the sequel, for Namor/Doom/F4 to take center stage.

Okoye, M'Baku, Nakia, W'Kabi, etc all ignored. Coogler should recast and double down on the story he was building with these core characters. Shuri was a side act and borderline comic relief.

That's my concern as well. The whole T'Challa/Chad thing is similar to when a wealthy supposedly beloved dude dies yet ppl were sharpening their knives for his inheritance long before his death.

Ppl were clamoring for Shuri to take over, for Storm to takeover the sequel, for Namor/Doom/F4 to take center stage.

Okoye, M'Baku, Nakia, W'Kabi, etc all ignored. Coogler should recast and double down on the story he was building with these core characters. Shuri was a side act and borderline comic relief.

Being black panther also means being ruler of wakanda. I think we should all take a step back and let them figure out how they will play it.


For all we know they could rule by committee until a king is determined. I mean T'Challa was dusted after Infinity War so there was no Black Panther or Shuri in Wakanda for 7 years.

I still believe Trevante Rhodes is the runaway choice

Same height as Chad, comparable look, but a decade younger.

Not as refined an actor but the script and cast can help him like they did MBJ. Plus can do more action since he is younger. He's only 30. It ensures BP can be around for a while.

Grace got called out by the Birds of Prey director for lying about what the movie entailed. She pulls rumors out her ass just like cosmicnews and wegotthiscovered.

BP2 was supposed to be shooting soon and Coogler has been on the script for over a year now, which means they'll be forced to provide news by Q4/Q1 because their entire production schedule will either be greatly affected if they have to start all over again, or slightly if they are going for a recast.

Until then every youtube/twitter personalty lookin for clicks will have their "inside scoop". Notice nobody had the scoop on major in antman 3 until it actually happened. Nobody had scoop on kamala until it actually happened.
