This was an interesting interpretation. It took awhile for me to get used to Denzel's cadence but once I did, I really enjoyed the new take he infused in it. Really enjoy Frances as well. Wow, what an actress! Was not expecting a Black Macduff. That was cool. I really like the portrayal of the weird sisters and madness as well. Probably in my top 3 Shakespeare adaptations. The only thing I didn't like were the camera angles at the beginning. It felt detached and very much like actors reciting. I wish they'd been more natural. I'd give this a 9/10.

Just got out from seeing this. The acting was top notch and I got Denzel as a dark horse for Best Actor.
The MVP for me was Kathryn Hunter.

Edited: Never mind. The movie is out in the theaters but it will be released on Apple TV+ on Jan 14th.

This was dope. Really well shot, felt like a horror movie which works well for Macbeth. All the actors did their thing but the woman who played the witches and the old man impressed me the most. Read that she’s known as a Shakespearean actor who uses her physicality a lot
