A coworker of mine was lucky enough to see a screening of this, and said it exceeded her expectations and was a lot more visceral than she anticipated. She did however say it'll be divisive given the Shakespearean-dialogue (that stays completely true to the OG tragedy), that'll no doubt be hard to follow at times, especially on first viewing.

She mentioned that Kathryn Hunter killed her part too. A stand-out performance.

I wished they dumbed it down a little. It’s hard to follow the dialogue even if you’re well versed in Shakespearian literature. The cinematography is unreal. The actress who played the witch >>>
