It looks like DP3 is the only MCU movie next year so I wonder if they use fall out from this to set the stage of that and then DP3 Post credits set stage for the 2025 stuff

Enjoyed the season but I really hated that they include the failsafe plot that retcon season 1 ending.

Season 1 ending was damn near perfect and set up the MCU for Kang. Then they had to go retcon everything.

"You kill me and you have not just one devil but an infinite amount." So HWR was all flex. The death of HWR in Season 1 meant nothing and his death didn't actually free the timelines and the Kang Variants because he has Failsafe all along.

They just keep making Kang look bad.

"As you probably already know, my variants are already out there"

The fact that HWR is alive at the end of time, means the variants have always been there.. Because the war of Kangs has to happen, or else HWR wouldn't exist in the first place

great finale

what a mind trip.

the episode had everything; great screenwriting, great cinematography, and great pacing from start to finish

Loki quoting Shakespeare and T.S. Eliot

"i wasted time and now doth time waste me"

"we die with the dying......... we're born with the dead....."

their choice of music was on point to with Beethhoven too


what a journey this has been for Loki.


there so many things that this episode deals with: time, free will, purpose, sacrifice.


again, this is such a well written episode. great finale.

Yeah, and they showed they all hated the Kang in Quantamania and Rama Tut and I guess Scarlet Centurion kinda having some undercurrent of beef.

This reply doesn't make any sense. You think the plot revolves around a look of surprise?

I feel like if I reply I'll just be repeating what I already stated. He said there were 2 opinions and he was correct. Exactly what he said came to pass.

He was shocked several times. “You haven’t figured out how to pause?” Loki does it. “How do you know this is the first time we’ve had this conversation?”

All I said was “he paved the road” up to a certain point. season 1 there were no options. There was no choice. Lamentis, B-15 betrayal, etc had to happen only one way. “ you have to be changed by the journey” HWR was trying to change him into the person who would make the choice he wanted.

After a certain point, he couldn’t 100% say what happens. He believed based on those previous non-choices, Loki would make the decision HWR wanted him to make. The Loki would see the importance of the sacred timeline and maintain it as it. That he would keep the TVA pruning to save it.

Loki only decided to destroy the loom when he found out its actual purpose. To replace it with something better. He found another option.

Honestly, I liked her in the first season.

Doesn't really seem like the writers knew what to do with her this season though, she didn't really do much besides complain.

The romance in season 1 was more one-sided. I liked that they just accepted it wasn’t really working and just left it at they cared about each other.
