Nostalgia a helluva drug brehs :mjcry:

What people don't understand. The type of Nostalgia "JW" tapped into comes from a franchise that touched millions all over the globe. Guess what's coming out in Dec that has those exact same characteristics and a bigger fanbase than Jurassic Park does. The Box Office Isn't Ready: Jurassic World success is a preview to "The Force Awakens", Long lines and sellouts all over the country.

i dug this...very entertaining movie...main reason: they let the dinos be the stars....which is what i wanted...also, they had a lot of throwback to the original jp.....so i'm not surprised it's smashing records....

on a side note: i dont get the chris pratt love affair/hype....to me, he's just the latest lead white male that is being heralded/forced as the next 'it' guy for whatever reason.....i dont think he's that good of an actor and is a dumbass that tries too hard to be a dumbass...instead of it being entertaining, it's annoying....but for whatever reason people like him and he doing his thing right now, so more power to him...

I am almost thru now and I had to stop come here just to say WTF, at that whole wack emotional scene after the pterodactyl attack. Sh!t was atrocious. People are screaming, yelling and running franticly and he's kissing this b!tch in the middle of it all, then she gives this fake motherly speech to the boys in all the madness. STOP!

And the storyline was atrocious. Horrid ass movie so far. Some okay action, nothing spectacular though. And why the hell are they even allowed to make fuxing dinosaurs again. And these characters are annoying and their dialogue meh in so many places.

Lol at making even bigger dinosaurs then before and thinking they could control them. And militarizing dinosaurs...OKAY?! Eh eh. And you telling me you have whole fuxing island of these creatures who've broken out before but you dont have any weapons on hand to put them down quickly if they get out of hand. Still no real security measures. SMH.

I found myself laughing at the absurdity of this spectacle. I'll only have interest in another Jurassic Park\World\Adventure if Turok is in it putting in work to clear these white folks mess up. Just do the damn Turok - Jurassic Adventure movie and end the whole series. PLZ!

Lol movie was fukkin turrble.

Exactly. People like being a part of a cultural moment and on the real, you can always DVR game 5 and game of thrones. And if not, you can catch the highlights of the game or catch the game of thrones finale online tomorrow. Now if we were talking about the super bowl, that'd be a different story
Dvr the finals u say? :patrice:

Oh hell nah :stopitslime:

thought it was a great, fun movie except the end was a little shaky. :pachaha:at how they resolved the conflict.

you can almost tell that they didn't quite know how they wanted it to end

but overall I enjoyed it, and yes to the poster earlier who brought up the nostalgia factor and how this is a good sign for "that" movie opening in December. EVERY record is going to fall in December bank on it!

Nah I think they knew exactly how they wanted it to end. Wanted to give an homage to the first movie and also set up something they set up twice in the movie before

I think he meant the very end, you know, the kids meeting up with the parents, the whole divorce shyt ignored, Pratt making out with Dallas Howard, black guy still hiding inside a tree in the jungle, etc.
