This movie was really good. Kaluuya and Lakeith were incredible. Definitely had some departed/Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford vibes. Crazy that not much has really changed, politically.

I don't mean to sound rude but I didn't realize he was that talented as an actor, he was so good in that hood goon role in Atlanta I thought he was just playing an exaggerated version of himself. But I thought he was really good in this flick.When he confronted Fred he definitely had that Tracy aggression.

Yes they weren't babied like today. They were expected to help out and help support their family.
Many if them were much smarter and out going then young folks today because they were expected to do more and contribute.
