idk how you handle the age difference between bruce and joker if they want to do a sequel w/batman
I have a theory on this. I believe the story he told place in the past about 15 years ago. Years after Gotham got cleaned . The facility he was at the was clean and modern. I think he told that therapist his version of his origin. He gave details to her for to sympathize with him and let down her guard for him to overcome her and escape. I think the joke he spoke about was the story he gave her with little truths and the rest full lies.

IMO doing a sequel is possible and pretty easy. We've seen the world of Gotham through Joker's eyes....and to him the politcians were shyt, Thomas Wayne was a piece of shyt and everyone who he killed deserved that shyt. Now the sequel I'd do from Bruce's POV since he has a connection with everyone important in Joker. Use Bruce's movie to unravel and twist things we thought we established. Was Thomas Wayne really a jerk? Are the people of gotham really deserving of help? We saw the view from the bottom looking up top, that's why we hated those idiots on the train. Now lets flip...from Bruce's POV growing up as a kid, lets actually see how Thomas and his company legit tried to help the unfortunate....how the Wayne enterprise tried to do good but their efforts went in vain. It would add so much perspective to this "everybody is in the gray area" theme we got going right now.

IMO that's when he truly transformed....cause he had his final punchline set and everything. And at that very moment the light bulb went off.....

"Nah I won't die today....you bout to die today"

i say that because remember when he was home practicing ... he put the gun under his chin and pulled the trigger

Amazing film
Cinema was basically empty (17:20 showing) which surprised me.
Kind of see the outrage regarding the themes in the film and the casting of black people being there purely to help him bothered me.

I enjoyed the movie but I don’t want a sequel. Why not just let the movie stand on its own?

Movie fans complain about franchises, constant cash grabs, remakes and a lack of originality in Hollywood yet always demand sequels for some reason

You know these incel weirdos need somebody to look up to

What black people helped him?
The therapist who abandons him when the services are cut?
The neighbor who didn’t exist!
The man who wouldn’t give him his mother’s folder?
Stop making up scenarios for daps.

This.
This works better as a one off just like in comics where a one shot or limited series works better than an ongoing

LOVE THAT IT LIVED UP TO THE R RATING

VERY DARK AND HAD SOME DEPTH YOU COULD FEEL MORE THAN U WOULD IN YOUR TYPICAL COMIC MOVIE
