Phoenix doesn't seem to do sequelsOh and at whoever said they can't see this Joker going up against Batman.
Dude had the whole city behind him by the time the movie ended, he could definitely go toe-to-toe (not fighting, I mean as far as being a threat) with Batman.
It's a moot point though because this is a one off.
Fred.
When he tries to be funny he isn't but when he doesn't he is unintentional comedy. The cinema was when he walked into that glassI thought the " look who's laughing now" joke was so underrated
It was actually a good joke because no one laughed
He had his arms out n shyt
Even with the subway killings, only 2 out of the 3 kills are really justifiable. The first 2 were while they were attacking him so you can maybe argue self defense, that third one is where Arthur crossed a line and I thought the film did a good job at conveying that. That last Wayne employee was wounded, running, screaming for his life across different stops, yet Arthur still ran after him and gunned him down, shooting him in the back no less. That was a clear sign that Arthur had fully lost it and gone past the point of no return, because he didn’t just kill those guys in self defense or because they wronged him, he did it because he enjoyed it.
I missed the first 20 mins....But...
Did he kill that sista(his neighbor) and her daughter? Or did they only exist in his head?
Exactly but if any of the killings were being framed as anti-hero behavior....I'd be willing to give a pass to those three even if it's a stretch.
After that though? Hell no. Dude smothered his adopted mom with a pillow. Anti-hero.
No need for spoiler tags, opening week end is over.
There's nothing to suggest he killed them.
Fred.
