Official Infamous Second Son Thread

Just finished my first play through on Evil..
This game is great, the powers and the mobility they bring gives me a feeling of dominance that has easily surpassed the first two games. This is definitely the most fun infamous game. And I don't think I'll be able to go back and play the previous ones because they lack the mobility and traversal of Second Son

Only issues I have are the lack of day/night cycle, side missions and the story...
I'm extremely disappointed in the story, Infamous 1 remains the GOAT in that regard. I haven't collected all the side stuff yet, but as it stands after completing the evil story; there is no explanation for the "Second Son" subtitle.

I hope Sucker Punch feeds us with some good DLC

Game is too beautiful and amazing

no they dont.....killzone isnt as bad as yall try to say...i support it cause it's a good story, and the gameplay isnt bad...as for mp, it was fun and unique in killzone 2...up until GG messed up when they made the game more like the other shooters and took away the weighted feel of the guns....

This game sitting about a 7.5 for me. Something about the random corny phone calls during fights is off. And I don't know why but The sound effects sound like they could have been done better on certain things.

how can you say you you have issues with lack of side missions, but yet you havent finished the side stuff? those are the side missions lol...and it's a lot of it....

also, the infamouspapertrail and the cole legacy things are side missions...the cole legacy story is interesting and helps connect this game to those games...that explains the second son shyt...

as for papertrail, the shyt is cool so far, when it works lol...the website is bootleg as hell...it seems they fixed the '404 error' shyt, but all the shyt you have to do to continue to solve the case doesnt...i'm stuck at a part now cause the website wont let me do what i have to do to move it along...they are supposedly working on it and gonna release a fix for it today...anyway, they are gonna release a new chapter for the papertrail stuff every week for the first 6 weeks....which is cool as hell....

What's your audio setup like? This game has great sound, make sure you're setting is on home theater in the options and turn down dialogue a notch.

have you checked your sound settings in game?...i'm not talking about levels, i'm talking about the different sound settings like home theater, ps3 gold, shelf speakers, tv, etc. and set it to whatever you listening to the game through?....cause that plays a part in the sound....i've used home theater and the ps3 gold headset settings, and this game sounds great....you can hear every lil thing from gun shots cross town, to your footsteps, the sound of your powers, etc. all clear as shyt....

that part works....it's the part after that, the second phase, that isnt...you have to do something, but when you try to do it, it doesnt allow you...some people have been able to get it to work by trying over and over till it worked; but most havent been able to...supposedly they working on it and gonna release some shyt today...

i used to respect sessler's opinion, but he was hyping up bioshock infinite like it was the second coming of christ and now shytting on a better game. dude has lost it. he just seems to be angry at the company for the embargo...

When I say side missions, I'm talking about the ones that aren't DLC.... The ones in Second Son are the hidden camera, secret agent and spray paint ones. These aren't really missions to me, they feel more like collectables. The previous infamous games had actual side missions; there were escort missions, overload missions, water tank missions and most importantly there were good/evil side missions. Second Son has none of these types of missions
