What's the consensus among Indy fans and sports writers on that pick? If it's top 5, you going QB? Lions fan here, hoping we end up with Will Anderson or Jalen Carter.
The constant failures of trotting out has-been, aging QBs has made targeting one in the draft a necessity. The drafted QB could massively underperform, but this would at least let fans know the organization attempted to fix the gaping hole on that end in a different way.

We better not even be THINKING about drafting Bryce Young. Alabama don't build QBs.
I don’t like anyone besides Bryce this year…
Options so thin that I’m just gonna hope they actually draft a QB and hope for the best with whoever it is. None of these prospects really wow me. Hate to say it but we may be right back in this position again next year. Chiefs, Bills, and the Bengals are the current top AFC teams that have had similar dark ages. We’ll be back competing someday, but right now it’s just not our time.

It was interesting watching the Steelers’ offense look downright dreadful the other night, or when Jakobi Meyers threw that ill-advised lateral and costed the Patriots the game. All three of us used to be the bonafide marquee teams of the AFC, but not anymore. The NFL really does stand for Not For Long. :wow:

On another note, this is truly a dysfunctional franchise from top to bottom and I’m so tired of saying Ballard needs to go. Perhaps Irsay should appoint a President of Football Operations and begin the process of passing down the ownership reigns to his daughter. Dude is extremely passionate about the franchise but grows way too attached with whoever he brings onboard the staff, to the point where it hurts the team.

This is really all you can do, and what Indy should've been doing since Luck retired.
Bengals/KC/Bills is Burrow/Mahomes/Allen. Steelers/Colts/Pats was Manning/Big Ben/Brady.

Indy has to roll the dice. Whoever they draft will most likely fail but :manny:

I hate to repeat the same talking points...but our dysfunction dates back to how we mishandled Brissett. We really should have let him sink/swim versus shoehorning over the hill Rivers/Wentz/Ryan into our team but wtf do I know...I'm just a Coli breh. I swear to god I hate Irsay. We have the most incompetent owner in the league.

also...even tho I don't think Reich shares more than 15% of the blame for where we are today, his playcalling/game planning was truly atrocious. He wasted tf out of Hines and it's hard to forgive him for that.
