The smog monster (Hedorah) gave him that work pretty bad before he came back and had to use those giant electrodes to channel his fire breath.brehs need to go back and watch them old godzilla movies. he/she used to take L's then come back from the L's
I wonder if they’ll bring back the smog monster. One of his scariest nemeses imo.

Watched again and just realize you can see mothras wings and hear her cry when ghidorah gets the breaks beat off him 
I thoroughly enjoyed the hell out of this movie. Had free time tonight and I took my 2 seeds to see it. My 8 year old loved it and was clapping after the end credits. Felt chills seeing some of those fights. Just pure epicness.
Hedorah is one of the few kaiju where you really felt how deadly of a threat he was. By far the most powerful kaiju of the Showa era, Godzilla himself stood no chance on his own
Think about this: Hedorah melted Godzilla's hand and one of his eyes with his corrosive acid. Even with the Big G's regenerative capabilities, his injuries stayed that way
If Godzilla didn't kill him then and there on Mt. Fuji Hedorah would have taken over the world

It was very tough to even finish this movie. What a complete misfire.
The thing they did where its a bunch of characters in a room taking turns talking is stilted as shyt and boring. The action was alright but lacked the weight of 2014 or Kong. And the characters were too incompetent to be likeable
