This whole Bolton's torturing convo is retarded
The Bolton's have a flayed man on their sigil because they used to Flay men on the regular, for centuries. Ned wasn't turning a blind eye to these devil's, it was Ned fukking Stark who outlawed flaying in the North.
You guys have no evidence that they were flaying people under Ned's rule after he outlawed it.

What we are saying is that if he really didn't know he is stupid and if he had his suspicions but didn't act on them he is scumbag. Either way he is a hypocrite. He expects Tywin to be responsible for his bannermen but doesn't ask the same thing of himself.

I meant about Roose raping, killing and flaying. I find it super hard to believe none of those rumors got to Ned.

The energy just seems to be off from previous seasons and fans seem to think this season is "boring" compared to 1-4. I think so far this season has been fantastic, but I feel at times in the minority...

On Sunday's episode he told Ramsey about killing Ramsey's mother's husband and raping him under his hanging corpse. His flag is a flayed man. That house of the boltons youtube video above talks about how he reinstated the practice where a lord got to fukk any dudes wife on their wedding night. It's pretty convenient for Ned not to know about any of this shyt. Especially when its apparently super easy for him to find out that Jorah Mormont sold a couple of slaves.

Ahh, ok, I'll have to rewatch that scene to get the details.
But the entire Bolton House was about that Flay life. It's reasonable to believe nobody was running to Winterfell with updates on a law they don't support. Nothing like slavery, which had been outlawed and we (or at least I) don't know how Ned found out about that.
Don't know what the wife stuff had to do with anything, tho.

come on son u know as well as anybody that if ned knew for a certainty that anybody was being flayed, roose would have met up with Ice at some point. its a touchy situation because all he has is rumors and even tho these are his bannermen, he cant completely control how they run their lands.
wit jorah most likely somebody snitched on him. if somebody had shown up at winterfell telling ned that roose was flaying and raping his people, roose woulda BEEN dead and ramsey would have been up on the wall with jon snow.
