I always thought they should have a whole season or two devoted to this. maybe give GRRM more time to cook up a book and stop the current series for 2 years and have this in its place before picking it back up for the last 1 or 2 seasons. people would probably riot though.

But Spartacus didn't have kids growing up on screen. shyt, Bran will probably be taller than Hodor next time we see him. Then with a 2 year gap people will move on to other gigs. The majority of the main Spartacus cast was in the prequel as well, which couldn't be the case with GoT and Robert's Rebellion.

I already see what's going to happen a mile away. When Littlefinger comes back to King's Landing he won't like what he sees Cersei has done. Then Margarery's grandmother The Queen of Thorns is going to come back and she won't like it either. Queen of Thorns (Tyrell Grandmother) is going to have Littlefinger have a chat with this High Sparrow, it is through that convo Littlefinger will drop the bomb that Cersei's kids are born of incest.

The thing about prophecies is that more often than not their misinterpretation helps them come true. Cersei thinks the young queen is Margary and she is destabilizing King's Landing to fight the prophecy. All that is doing is making things easier for another young queen across the sea.
