I only read halfway up to Storm of Swords. I went on Wikipedia and spoiled myself about who killed Joffrey. Keep dismissing the point though. Nonbookreaders are the oddballs. Naw, I think the safe bet for HBO/Warner Bros. is to go with first is a Robert's Rebellion Trilogy since it involves so many characters folks are already familiar with from the TV show. But I agree storylines & theories would need to be resolved.
