Yeah this is all true, I understand all that, but while fighting a war, you cant let your emotions get in the way, I mean he was fighting to break away from a massively rich empire and on top of all that at the time, the Greyjoys invaded Winterfell burned it to the ground and held it.

He needed all the men he could get, and he just ended up making himself more enemies, he could've saved the marriage until after the war or if he was going to be King In The North, he could've completely altered the whole stigma against b*stards with a few stern words. Breh had all the tools to beat the Lannisters but he let emotions get in the way, which makes all the more sense since he was only 16 years old and he wasnt not going to be the wisest man on earth, all in all, he was a fool for thinking that Frey was going to let all that go, especially after his mother constantly warned him against that shyt.

But yeah Frey a bytch ass nikka for that :pacspit:

I'm just saying....in the book, Robb Stark pretty much says he didn't want to make a b*stard, and that he didn't want to dishonor the girl. Like.....you could say Ned was a dummy for warning Cersei and not going straight to the King the moment he found out about her nasty secret. But Ned was honorable and he didn't want to see children get killed. That's true to Ned's character. He would look crazy if he was cool with Tommen and Myrcella getting their heads cut off. That's not Ned. In the same way, Robb grew up with Jon.

Growing up as the two eldest boys, Jon developed a friendly rivalry with Robb, whom he differs from in appearance and personality. Once, they were at a continued game of sword-play in which they would shout out the names of great heroes when Jon called out (as he had countless times before), that he was "Lord of Winterfell", leading Robb to swiftly reply for the first time that he "couldn't ever be Lord of Winterfell" as he was b*stard-born. This became a sore memory for Jon, as part of him always wanted to succeed Lord Eddard and resented that it was impossible for him.

He saw how shyt was for his half-brother. So it makes sense wouldn't want to be out there making b*stards.

I don't defend Robb often, but I'm gonna defend his choice here a bit.

Robb can be looked at on the surface as dumb for his decision, but he was not dumb. He knew exactly what the marriage would cost him (the Frey alliance). He also knew he could never trust Walder Frey again. These things didn't go over his head.

Getting killed at the Red Wedding was not an act of incompetence on Robb's part, it was an abomination on a level unseen up to that point by Walder Frey.

Guest rights (the offering of bread and salt to a guest, brokering a period of peace under the roof) is a sacred thing among the laws of gods and men. Walder Frey violating the guest right is literally the worst thing that anyone has done in the series. Worse than any murder, worse than any rape, worse than any combination rape and murder.

In that universe, guest right is a vital and unbreakable code of society. Society would actually fall apart without it. If competing parties can not treat together without the promise of peace, there can never be an establishment of government or country. Society turns into groups of tribes slaughtering each other in anarchy.

The Red Wedding was not caused by Robb's poor choices. Losing the Frey army was the only thing caused by Robb's poor choices. The Red Wedding was caused by a man, Walder Frey, literally gambling with his soul and handing over his fate to gods who will not forgive.

:obama: I can dig that I guess, I still feel like Robb should've made a few sacrifices and swallowed his feelings about fathering b*stards, but yeah that's actually a perfect explanation of how he was prolly feeling

Yall in here shytting on Robb for trusting Frey yet I don't see nobody talking about how fukking stupid, useless and inept Tywins kids are...

If it wasn't for Tywin the Lannisters would be wiped off the map with the quickness...His children cannot stop catching L's, even he's got to verbally ether the fukk out of them every episode...I love how my dude could give a fukkless about his dead p*ssy grandson and already moved on...Speaking about not caring for Joffrey, :wtf: @ this one handed gimp Jamie deciding to rape his sister at the feet of his dead incest bread sons corpse...

Lannisters...:smh:

and Balon Greyjoy is next on the chopping block. Bu-bu-bu-bu we're "about to" :mjlol: we're killing leaders left, right and centre.

Are you getting it?.

Stannis cannot be stopped.

Here's the real kicker, YOU'RE NOT CLOSER TO WINNING THE THRONE

Y'all cats really are delusional:
1) You killed Rob. Okay.

  1. The moment a Stark gets back to Winterfell, all of the North is automatically rallied. Which means whoever assumes command, still has the right to whoop your ass.
  2. Our broken army is STILL stronger than your current unified army. So imagine what happens after you fight the Lannisters/Highgardens and lose thousands upon thousands of men.

2) You killed Renly. Okay
  1. AND GOT ALL OF HIS TROOPS KILLED. Such a power move. You're feasting on seagulls and couldn't raid a pantry with your standing army.
  2. How does killing your YOUNGER brother get you CLOSER to the Throne? Hmmmm

3) You killed Joffrey. Okay
  1. And now the Lannisters don't have to deal with him as a distraction.
  2. Tommen is king.
  3. Tywin is proxy king.
  4. The Lannisters now have an alliance of Highgarden….AND DORNE
  5. And…wait for it…YOU'RE STILL NOT CLOSER TO WINNING THE THRONE.

4) Balon Greyjoy. Okay
  1. IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF fukkN WESTEROS. :laff: that muhfukka ain't even tryna fight you. He's trying to take the North. How's he gonna get the throne? He has to go through Casterly Rock to get to Kings Landing.
  2. When you kill Balon, wouldn't his more competent daughter take the throne?
  3. Wouldn't killing him just make Bolton's position that much stronger? Oh so he's not a threat either?

Do you nikkas not see a pattern here? When you kill the king, someone is always ready to take up his place. KILLING ARMIES IS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS.

Ned Stark didn't have to be alive for Rob to wipe his ass with the Lannister family. Joffrey doesn't have to be alive either. As long as there are offspring, the strength lives on. :mjpls: What's Stannis' offspring looking like in them pickle jars?

But nah, seriously, here is the REEEEEEEEAL KICKER.

Why the fukk. Would you use ur "kill anyone card" on anyone beside TYWIN MUHfukkN LANNISTER. :snoop:

Wait no, here's an even better kick in the rear for you….

You remember all of those deaths came as a result of b*stard blood right. *looks around* Y'all see any b*stards anymore? Did or did YOU not REQUIRE b*stard blood to get closer to the throne. And even when you had the b*stard blood, you still lost the only battle you had to fight.

Y'all hype about Braavos coming through with that loan…..
Looks like the Lord of Light ain't about to fukk with you either….

Seriously. Tommen is already a better leader than him. Think about how dumb this war is from this perspective….

If Stannis drops blood in the pot for:
- Renly
- Robb
- Tywin
- Joffrey (this can be interchanged with ANYONE because Joffrey is NOT a commander)

Doesn't he just waltz into Kings Landing? Isn't this story over by now?
