Just listened to another review and the author offered an interesting catch.

Did anyone else deduce Varys was using Martha, the little bird, to poison Daenerys' food?

I remember watching that scene but I totally missed that is what he was up to.

This is what i'm saying here. Notice how in the first pic they are still trying to determine if it's the dragon because it looked like a bird.

By the time shot they realize it's the dragon and they shoot their first shot and Danaerys dodges it. We've seen her dodge smaller arrows before when she took out the Lannisters and the Tully army.

AFTER the first shot is missed that's when you see the guy below says "TURN IT" while they try to reload the projectile.

As Euron is once again struggling to find where she's hiding she comes down again from the cloud and takes out the first couple of ships

Again you see and hear them saying "turn it around"




Then as she headed to the walls she flew low as if to bait the Lannisters on the wall to shoot bad shots low and all she had to do is come up and dodge them all in one move. Once you miss it takes time to reload and then point the damn thing towards your MOVING target while you are stationary.

Again, doggy i know it's fantasy and Danaerys was meant to win but it aint too farfetched. The farfetched thing is that the dragon had that much fire to tear down an entire city os brick homes

Also, if I'm not mistake that was the FASTEST we've ever seen a dragon move. Drogon was MOVING, breh.

I don't even know what to say about this show now. Years of character development....trashed. Daenerys no longer breaking the wheel. No longer savior of the people. No longer the breaker of chains. Slaughters innocent people after they've surrendered to her. Those people did nothing to her. Those people didn't kill Missandei. Those people didn't kill her dragon. Instead of flying to the Red Keep and burning Cersei alive, she burns the city?? Tyrion caping for Jaime to SAVE Cersei?? Tyrion rats out Varys....who saved him and escorted him to Essos to meet Daenerys?? Varys is suddenly so careless as to allow himself to be found out?? And the famed Golden Company....did nothing....but run. Arya...the death loving faceless assassin is suddenly scared to die because the Hound says something?? YOU JUST KILLED THE LIVING EMBODIMENT OF DEATH! And what happened to those faceless skills anyway?? Change faces to kill the Freys, and that's it?? What kind of sh*t is this??

Again...Sapochnik is a very good director. This was very well shot. The scenes in the city was like watching the fallout in a great war film. But Benioff and Weiss are sh*t. I always watch and rate shows based on the rules the show established for itself and its characters. This is a blatant disregard for their own rules! So now I guess Daenerys has to die...but Jon doesn't want the throne... What the f*ck is this????

All of Tyrion’s plans did suck. However, Dany killed innocent people after the Lannister army surrendered. She is just like Cercei & not fit to be queen. The bytch literally reeked havoc b/c she got emotional in the middle of a war. Screw Dany.

They moved rather quickly in Winterfell battle and also in the battle when they roasted the Jamie led Lannister army. The only time i felt the dragons wer slowER was when they went beyond the wall to rescue Jon and the others. Seemed like they were taking turns taking slow dives at the undead army.

I said they did a poor job of showing Hounds motives just like every other character in this season as they ignore development to rush this off. Second, you are confusing violent tendencies to being completely insane and mad. You really used her brother as some plot point like he wasn’t threatening to rape and rip a baby out her wound? That’s called motive. And I just listed numerous examples of her going against that nature. Now all of the sudden bells turn her into a psycho. And the Jon identity thing is also poor. You're the second person to say Arya turned around because she was scared. I don't understand where people are getting this from. I thought it was clear that she changed her mind because she didn't want to be a vengeful spiteful shythead like the hound was. It's an old Hollywood trope but I thought it was clear

I guess it fits tho. She worked in the kitchens. But this is yet another storyline ruined by their insistence in rushing the ending. They just showed Varys writing letters, to whom? Who knows.
