The showrunners wanted to rush this to move on to something else while their names were hot but in actuality them rushing this will lead people to avoid any and everything they are attached to in the future.

NiGht king really had no impact on anything. She was able to take kings landing with one dragon and it wasn’t even close. Not sure the northern army was even needed
Night kings only legacy might be killing Jorah which contributed to her insanity
Within the first 30 minutes of the episode I knew something would go way wrong because the Lannister army was already mostly defeated really early.
One thing that Cersei and Euron got wrong is that they allowed too much space between King's Landing and the Greyjoy fleet. Cersei knew that in order to get to King's Landing Daenerys would have to fly the dragon through the fleet. All she had to do was bring the fleet closer basically using them as bait so that while the dragon is focused on the fleet the scorpions on the towers near the bay could have taken the dragon out. But instead neither the fleet or the scorpions on the bay could help each other out.
Which is why I knew that Cersei would lose this a while ago because she had lost most of her great military minds when Tyrion and Jaime and her father were all gone. Euron was her only hope but Euron is an overconfident knucklehead. Tywin, Tyrion and to some degree Jaime were the Great military strategist of the Lannisters and they were all gone.

Kings Landing held highest of population in Westoros I believe by a large margin. She just killed a million people
most of the North is wiped out

out of the houses, they only down to a handful of family left Stark - 3 people left (sansa, arya and bran)

Greyjoy - 1 left (yara)
Lannister - 1 left (tyrion)
Tyrell - wiped out
Martell - wiped out

Nah the plot armor got turned back on breh, hundreds of giant crossbows either could not fire or did not fire and now dragons became unstoppable again.
Meanwhile last episode they was like homing missiles

It's not that. The dragon are highly agile in the air. You saw the men struggling to turn the crossbows because they are heavy and have to be manually turned.
