Act like she didn't blow up the septThe way Cersei finessed her opponents this season, it's hard not to like her. Keeping the gate open for innocent civilians to protect the city is genius. Dany can't do shyt now.

When the fukk has Cersei EVER played by the rulesCersei should have killed Dany on the spot but you don’t kill your opponent of war during negotiation meetings, those are the rules of engagement. I don’t see why Cersei would follow it but maybe she thought the North, Dorne, Iron Islands would retaliate and sack the city.

Dany needs to go somewhere and re-evaluate this whole Iron Throne thing. She ain't built for Westeros. Not even the north respects her like that.
I don't think they changed their mind, I think they rushed through the Night King subplot.
Put it like this, GRRM doesn't have a "Night King" in the same way that the show has. There are white walkers and an impending threat of some sort but it is all very vague in the books..
Meanwhile I don't believe GRRM ever intended on the major characters dying in a new version of the Long Night. GRRM had discussions/conferences with them and told them what the main ending point is..
I agree it's been rushed and I don't understand why it is being rushed but the idea that the white walkers were going to end up being the final point of the series, I doubt it.
GRRM was always going to end this with some sort of fight over the iron throne.

See you next week and the week after that![]()

Dany bout to turn into the Mad Queen and just torch the place out of spite. We already saw the throne room in ashes in the first season. I'm guessing that is what will happen.Yeah, but she would've done better, IMO, if she'd kept Missandei as a hostage, GUARANTEEING that Dany wouldn't attack KL. (Or would she?) I mean, I don't fukk w/Dany, and even *I* wouldn't blame her for torching the place.
