Dany needs to go somewhere and re-evaluate this whole Iron Throne thing. She ain't built for Westeros. Not even the north respects her like that.

I don't think they changed their mind, I think they rushed through the Night King subplot.

Put it like this, GRRM doesn't have a "Night King" in the same way that the show has. There are white walkers and an impending threat of some sort but it is all very vague in the books..

Meanwhile I don't believe GRRM ever intended on the major characters dying in a new version of the Long Night. GRRM had discussions/conferences with them and told them what the main ending point is..

I agree it's been rushed and I don't understand why it is being rushed but the idea that the white walkers were going to end up being the final point of the series, I doubt it.

GRRM was always going to end this with some sort of fight over the iron throne.

Dany finessed herself...

She needed to do less talking and put dragon fire to purpose...

Like I said earlier, she should of listened to OG Oleanna...She didn't even need the Dothraki and Unsullied to take KL...She had three dragons and Cersei had no defenses...That one ballista cannon wasn't even tested...

Dany bout to turn into the Mad Queen and just torch the place out of spite. We already saw the throne room in ashes in the first season. I'm guessing that is what will happen.

What "rules" is Cersei following? She blew up the entire court and the equivalent of the pope and vatican. And she's already forever at war with Dorne and the North. This after her daddy broke guest rights and orchestrated the red wedding, a big fukk you to the "rules." And she has Euron as an ally and a contract with the Golden Company while the other armies have been written to be decimated. And she JUST INVITED them all to attack her by cutting off Missandei's head.

The only reason Cersei agreed to the first negotiation is because she was in a shyt position and would have been wiped out if she didn't agree to meet. Now she has the chance to END the war right now and she doesn't because????

There is zero explanation for why she didn't wipe out that army and march Dany's ass naked through the streets.
