I swear y’all use the white savior complaint for every fukin movie that has this. Guess what maybe that’s just the fukin story. This story was written before any of you or myself were even alive. Get over it. Don’t like it turn the shyt off. Get over ya selves go watch movies where only ppl of color defeat the big bad evil white man. A good movie is a good movie. Idc if I see white ppl get slaughtered up by Asians or latins or a black dude. But this is so fukin boring to hear every other thread.

but man that shyt is so blatant.. a bunch of brown people literally worshipping a white man as soon as he steps of his spaceship. he meets the brown people and the first thing he does is kill the darkest brother in the gang who also happens to be an aggressive hater described as a 'good fighter'. cuz u know these barbaric nomads make political decisions by death fights cuz and respect warrior skills over anything.

Can some1 explain to me why future tech nikkas with spaceships, levitation, magic and interstellar travel are fighting war by melee combat and swords?

Also why can't they just set traps for the worms and nuke them? Eradicate the planet of those fukkers?

Jist forget it breh.

They ruined this movie with decades and two previous models to get right.

If you want anything explained in the same slow burn pace but more effective. Watch the original.
Everything in the original is just better and people call it the worst blockbuster flop ever.
.yet it is leagues better than this.
the original is better in every possible way.

1. Bombs must work thouugh right? Grenades, RPGS gonna bounce off? I saw them blowing up space ships.

So they mentioned it in the movie but briefly, the Doctor disabled the Alatreides shields and weakened them, that's how their ships were able to be easily destroyed. Idk if explosives are effective, seems like the Fremen use that kinda shyt while the more modernized factions just focus on their people being good with swords

I did enjoy Infinity War. I wasn't looking for nonstop action but the world they built felt shallow and I didn't care about the characters. Some people want to read the books to get more depth out of the story because they found the framework that the movie set up interesting but not a complete story. The movie was missing something and wasn't good enough to stand on its own.

This movie tried to use some marvel bullshyt and it was huff from black panther erroneously. To their failed dc universe ploys as well.

This movie is avatar bad.

It is just as bad if not worse than kathleen kennedy's second star wars installment.

That is how bad this movie is.

I have not watched any critics on this movie.
Yet this movie if it has positive reviews are all paid off like the second kathleen kennedy reviews were.

I watched this because i was told this was the godfather or OG of modern science fiction and everybody borrowed or stole from it in some capacity

kinda like what Lord of the rings did for high fantasy dungeons and dragons type shyt
and with that being said........

This shyt was boring as fukk
I see why George Lucas added Space wizards with laser swords and magic powers to his space opera lmao
This shyt is like the Tattooine part of star wars.....except it lasts for 3 fukking hours!


i was beautifully shot, decently acted and all that, but for a Epic space movie, it had no interesting weapons or technology/aliens........it was Just fukking Bland man.

If I remember correctly, the relationship between the worms and the spice was actually a spoiler that you weren't supposed to know until the 2nd half of the original movie.

They covered this quickly in the movie, so quickly that if you don't already know the story you'll probably miss it:

When the Bene Geserit "witches" tell Jessica that they prepared the way for Paul, what they meant was that they pre-programmed the Fremen to see Paul (or somebody exactly like Paul) as a prophet.

They have been on every planet manipulating all religions to look out for a savior that THEY are trying to create.

i just finished watching this...confusing movie but for some reason it kept me engaged...the visuals were super nice...compared some of the WB movies that have dropped on hbo max..im not mad at it..even for how long it was
