Movie was ok...cinematography should sweep every awards show... but Denis is a master at this so no surprise there...

To me it didn't server any purpose but to set up the second and third movies...

What's the box office take for this cause if two isn't done right this shyt could BOMB

Gonna be about $400M WW which is in line with Shang Chi and Eternals and slightly above BW... Was released same day on HBO MAX while the MCU releases were all theater exclusives.

When you are outperforming the MCU releases then i'd say that's pretty good.

Didn't this movie cost over 150 million and that does NOT include marketing and promotion

400 million might not be doing anything but making they money back

They aren't just going to count B.O. when it was released same day on HBO Max they will view subs and then physical media interest and if it does well for award season..

Sequel already green lit so they obviously are happy.

One of my favorite movie experiences ever seeing this in IMAX. You have another chance though, many theaters are moving it back into IMAX.

As a standalone movie, trying to watch this and get educated on the story at the same time? This shyt is ASS!

After reading a summary of the story, filling in the blanks and rewatching the movie? This is a masterpiece.

I love it more every time I watch it. You have to read the story (at least a summary of Book 1) beforehand though to fully appreciate it. They should've done a better job at trying to educate the viewer.

Of course its on torrents since it was on max. It leaked day 1. Thats your best course of action unless you want to wait 3/4 months for it to be back on hbo
