Lol exactly how I feel. I think some people expected Marvel/ Disney characters and dialogue. That’s not DuneSaw it, shyt was amazing. Amazing visuals. I don’t know how y’all say it’s boring lol have you read the fukking books?
Understand the literature before coming in, this shyt could have been way more “boring”.

And even at at that they dumbed it down. The whole Duke Leto lady Jessica plot was skipped(that shyt better be in the extended cut)

I liked it better than most of Lynch’s movies but I’m admittedly not a big fan of his.
I’m on my way with my pops to see this in IMAX. Not taking anyone’s opinion of this very seriously unless they saw it in theaters. shyt is just going to hit different

Cons: did we need all the foreshadowing scenes, this could have been 30 minutes shorter if they took those out, also as far as destruction porn goes, Foundation did it better, there were no memorable scenes.
I'll give it 7 out if 10 and wait for the sequel

Went to see this with a chick last night just based on the ratings and because I haven't seen a good Sci fi in a while... I'm not familiar with Dune at all.
We both left not knowing wtf we just watched... it seemed like a good movie but I just didn't really know what was going on. Seems like a better fit for a TV series like another breh said. I gotta watch it again before I give a rating

The foreshadowing scenes are his dreams and visions. Critical to dune
I don't know how people can watch this on HBO and be satisfied. 
Haven’t done a rewatch yet but whenever I do, I’m making sure it’s in the theater again. Could not watch on Max for the life of me.I don't know how people can watch this on HBO and be satisfied.
