This special was cool. Dave is God on The Coli though so obviously the views here are slanted. He’s not really in the same lane as most other comics at this point, but I can’t say that Dave’s specials over the last half decade or so have been at a higher level than the other well known comics.

I can't name anyone else besides Rock and Burr who have dropped specials on that level. Maybe I missed some specials.

This sounds like when people used to dislike gay people and somehow people came to the conclusion that “they must be gay “

A lot of times this is true, though. There is legitimate research as far back as 1996 to suggest that homophobic people are more likely to be be homosexual, or at the very least aroused by homosexual imagery.

It makes perfect sense too. Like, I've never given a fukk about what anyone does in the privacy of their own bedrooms, as long as it's between consenting adults.

I never chose to be straight, and I don't think most gay people choose to be gay. And we've all known people growing up that were gay before they were old enough to even have sexual feelings yet. We also know that homosexuality is incredibly prominent in nature, among every major type of animal.


I've never understood why anyone would dislike gay people....unless ...they have gay thoughts and desires, and it scares them. They see something in themselves they don't like, or they think is wrong, and they project that outwards.

One of the biggest homophobic gay hating people I knew in high school is now in his 30's and just came out as gay on social media 2 months ago.

It's 1 + 1 = 2 to me.

I do usually assume that most people who adamantly dislike gay people are probably also gay.

'They' tried to cancel/end his career over some comedy. Dave is just giving them that work/foot on neck special. If you cant take the heat stay out of the kitchen type of shyt. Obviously they cant and Dave trolled them. Its all comedy at the end of day. They can laugh at 'nikka' all day and other stuggles and etc but when the spotlight is on them its always. . Its easy to figure out Dave's tactics here.

Eh, as somebody who enjoyed this and all of his specials…the worst thing “they” did was say that they didn’t enjoy it for whatever reason. Everybody is entitled to their opinion.
Dave honestly should just just move on from this and keep making his money because everybody is dug in and won’t be changing their mind

I swear Dave's various ways of saying "Shut the fukk up" is about the most hilarious ways and timing of it ever. shyt's damn near a skillpoint in itself. He's said it in a few different ways in each of these netflix specials and it has me dying everytime, LOL!

I think the punchlines and jokes from this special will get better with time, I agree with the breh that said it felt kind of weird listening to him begin a bit and then suddenly end it with a punchline and go to another story. But with a rewatch that feeling will probably fade.

Dave's been the best for such a long ass time. I wonder how long he'll take for another special, two, three years? He feed us good for a half a decade
