Just watched it, thought it was great. I won't compare it to previous netflix specials or get into specifics of his set as far as funny, but I look at it as another piece of the puzzle or the "closing" piece of the puzzle.

I think Dave is just in another stratosphere as far as comedy goes and most objective people will agree. He's just up there giving lecturing now and further cementing his place as the GOAT. People throw out Carlin, Pryor. But I don't think even they were this consistent and this active. When you're compared to ghosts then no one living in the present can touch you, maybe Chris Rock but that's about it.

I do t think I’ve ever seen a special that basically sticks to one or two topics for the duration of the special. It’s like an expanded version of John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight format.

I can see gays getting mad, but objectively, yeah he roasted them and his views are not as woke as some people might demand(you can never be woke enough anyway), but he closed it on a very empathetic human to human note. He even offered the community an olive branch.
