Thats what it is. Just a nice family film. If you look at it as that instead of like a full on comedy then u appreciate it more. Just something everybody in the house can chill and watch.

The meat of the movie with the b*stard kid and the reverse love story was

They probably thought this would go to theatres and copped out with the pg13. If they knew this was going to Amazon the entire time, there's no excuse for an R rating.

The movie was planned for a theatrical release for months. It was originally supposed to come out last August, but COVID pushed back the release date and then they made the deal with Amazon to premiere it.
