you act like every thing that comes out of your mouth is pure gem. you don't know shyt about panther so why speak on it and comment on my shyt

Lee and Kirby weren't writing Black Panther at the time he joined the Avengers. Roy Thomas was the writer on Avengers during that era. Stark and Rogers weren't on the team during that period either. Panther showed up on the team specifically as Steve's replacement.

There was also no firm Avengers leadership at the time, it was ran by committee. This was after they drafted the charter, the various members of team would vote for who gained membership and who acted as field leader.

you sure? red lion seemed like a response to coates panther

He's misrepresenting what Priest said, Priest just said he liked that Coates was doing something different with the character.

At the time Black Panther was defined as a King AND a Superhero. This was before Don McGregor and LONG before Priest came along to redefine the character.

At the end of Panther's first story in Fantastic Four he pledges to use his resources and abilities to fight injustice and benefit mankind. The Avengers were seen as characters that protected the entire planet, so it would make sense for T'Challa to want to be involved in that to some degree as it would also mean protecting Wakanda.

Soon after joining the team McGregors Jungle action run was greenlit and he directly addressed T'Challa's absence with the Panther's Rage story. Years later Priest explained T'Challa's membership as also being about assessing whether or not the Avengers could be a threat to Wakanda.

During those early years the guy who did the most damage to T'Challa was Roy Thomas with his bullshyt version of T'Challa that barely did anything and referred to himself as a "soul brother". Roy Thomas is also the one responsible for the creation of Man-Ape and he's the one that made T'Challa a Harlem school teacher.

With all that said, it wasn't like T'Challa was the only king doing double duty as a member of a superhero team. Namor was a member of the Invaders, Aquaman was in the Justice League, Geo-force was a member of the outsiders, Thor has been an Avenger while King. The reason typically given is that by being members of these teams they're stopping threats that could endanger their kingdoms.

t'Challa can't protect wankanda if he is here in the us running around with his inferiors. wakanda has gone for years without being conquered so exactly can the team be a threat. tchalla main concern should be wakanda, not the world outside it

Stop being so damn obtuse and stop ignoring the established reasoning given.

In the comics from the time T'Challa became King to present day there was a huge surge in superhuman activity and Alien Invasions.

If the Kree/Skrull war explodes on earth that's going to negatively affect Wakanda.

If Ultron succeeds in his goals that's going to negatively affect Wakanda.

If Kang starts screwing with the timeline that affects Wakanda negatively.

The Avengers are stationed in the U.S. complaining about T'Challa being there while serving as an Avenger is almost as silly as complaining about him being in another country while being part of a member of the U.N.

i'm not being obtuse or ignoring what you are saying, all i'm saying to you is i did not care for marvel watering down his African connection. the wakandians are perfectly capable of fighting any threat without the avengers, this is just another attempt to marginalize panther. he suppose to be smart, rich, regal, tech savvy, but he needs agent ross and avengers to help him deal with his responsibility. the only heroes he should be cool with in the mcu is= doctor strange, thor submariner and silver surfer in terms of back up for wakanda

The Keystone State
I thought that the trailer looked n sounded good.

Some people online are arguing that they should have used real African muzik and not American style rap music.

I think it's fine as is.

What y'all think.
