Lol, good point. It's more like a remix of the Lion King when you think about it.

In BP:

-His uncle is actually a good role model.

-Wasn't kicked out of the kingdom...till AFTER he wasn't king no more.

-Got his Hakuna Matata moment...right when he learns he got a brain aneurysm.

-Settles down....then is single again.

-Like Simba, he spoke to his fathers spirit...but gets disowned.

-His country gets blown up.

T'Challa's story as of late is actually a sad, bitter sweet version of the Lion King.

Damn, he needs some wins

I'm more of a DC person but I'll be supporting Marvel on this.

I say blend the Priest and Hudlin versions.

Have Nakia and Okoye be T'Challa's personal bodyguards. When he goes on official functions, both in Wakanda or overseas, they go with him, just like in the Priest run.

However, make Nakia and Okoye officially part of the Dora Milaje, which is an all-women unit of the Wakandan military, and among the best military units in the world.

I do hope QDJ makes the film in some capacity as well.

Her name is Rutina Wesley. She was on True Blood but I never watched that show. I did see her as Lady Cop on Arrow. She's good at being authoritative so she's good for a Milaje, and as a softer love interest type. Like I said I don't care who plays who, they're all qualified lol.

She's the kind of dark skinned beauty I want to see represented on screen

Coincidentally she's on Ava DuVernay's new show on OWN.

My other Milaje choice, also African (Ghanaian) Cynthia Addai Robinson.

She's got New Zealand Special Forces and Navy Seals training too.

and now, the 'force push' is part of his special abilities in his Disney Infinity Civil War character (starting at the 4:05 mark)



I like it. Hell, i like everything i saw here with his abilities and design. I think this could be a very good indication on what the MCU has in mind for T'Challa moving forward.
