Breh coulda enjoyed Cali and had a good paying job with his military and education if we keeping it 100. He chose to be evil.

so he should have enjoyed living a decent life under white supremacy instead of using the weapons in he knew existed to overthrow it?

OH, someone earlier mentioned either in this thread or the official thread about cringing or something regarding M'Baku making those grunts towards Ross when Ross tried to speak during their consul. I thought that shyt was both HILARIOUS and totally apropos to the situation and I like the message behind it in that white folks (or any other races for that matter) shouldn't be speaking on our matters unrequested. They can have an opinion, but keep it to themselves.

Kilmonger's idealism was correct but he was tyrannical in his actions.

He caused a civil war that pitted his own people against his own. Even had okoye nearly kill her husband over that shyt. What is it we love praising more than anything else? Black love and Black families, correct? Why would you stand by a man, who would with a straight face, advocate for the death of black families in order to restructure the world? It's not like they were c00ns or anything either, so it makes their deaths more illogical.

However T'Challa's actions to help black folks were pretty much some of the same old charity work that everyone else does, except in this world I imagine with Shuri's help there's going to be a lot more black scientific geniuses to help better their neighborhoods n such. In the 2nd movie I hope we see more development on that front, like maybe black neighborhoods would have drone's made by Shuri policing instead of corrupt cops, stuff like that.

I was dying at that part because I was thinking the exact fukking thing. Like nah, you don't get to say shyt, colonizer :pacspit:

He might of had that thought at some point. He prolly came home from the military one day back to his hometown of Oakland and witnessed a viral and traumatic event.:mjcry:

Doesn't Killmonger have a line about killing children?

He's a goat level villain but some people are going a bit overboard with the sympathy. He was definitely a bad guy.

Killing the children of OPPRESSORS.

Khalid “Killmonger” Mohammed was on his any means shyt

How do you think white ppl took control and maintain control?

Do we want to be like the white man or BETTER than them? The roles will be reversed and while that maybe appealing because we are the wrong end of the gun, but do we want our legacy to mirror the white man: a path of death, destruction, greed and genocide?

Anyways switching from Kilmonger talk a lil bit. Shuri was dope. I heard she was funny but she was also sweet and the relationship between her and T'challa were cute. I like how out of everyone she was the only one allowed to clown T'Challa lol girl sent him flying while recording it :russ:

M'Baku was dope. I wish we could've seen more of his kingdom. Dude's men were stealthier than T'Challa in this movie. When T'Challa's fam were going up to see M'Baku, his men came out of fukking nowhere. Camera flipped to the edge of a cliff with someone chilling which had me :picard: cuz the area was fukking empty 2 seconds ago. Like was dude hanging off the mountain waiting for some shyt to pop off? lmao

Nakia was just alright. Loved her in the casino scene tho. That body in that dress :wow:

Okoye was also cool. I liked how annoyed she was at everything.

Going to a spy mission. I hate this wig :martin:
Korean lady being a c*nt. :martin:
Everett touches T'Challa. Let him try and touch you again :martin:

is it oochie wally or one mic
one min the coli said its time we stop talking/marching/praying

next min when the micah x's and killmongers rise up its we cant be like white people :to:

Depends on your perspective and aim. Are you for Power and Supremacy or are you merely just for the betterment of your people?
Killmonger was about doing it the only way he knew how. Wakanda was there to show that it is a different way
That's the beauty of the characters and the film itself.

Never looked at it like that. Yeah, Killmonger had a legit reason to get mad about the state of black people worldwide, just that his methods were too clouded on anger.

On the opposite ends, when T'Challa became king, when he engaged in the "burial" ritual, he spoke to his father in spirit and had a heart to heart convo in the grasslands with a dreamy skyline. After it was over, T'Challa was very happy and fit to lead since the wisdom of his father inspired him.

On the Contrast, Killmonger, when he forced his way to leadership of Wakanda, went for the burial ritual, and was still stuck in the old Oakland apartment he grew up in. He saw his dead father in that scene, and basically was on some "nikkas die everyday, B" kind of steeze. He shed no tears for him, and woke up even more pissed off and even further from peace of mind.

I knew from there that he wasn't fit to lead at all. Causing chaos from within Wakanda and killing anyone that didn't agree with him.
He cried

yea but she was throwing him the middle finger n shyt :mjlol:
"Why didn't you bring back the boy? :to:"

The scene that had me emotional was his view of the ancestral plane just being in his old apartment. It felt like he was cut off from it but hopefully with him being a previous black panther he can roll in the wild like everyone else :mjcry:
