Yeah all that donation money he getting. Half needs to go to voter education. Unfortunately we may have to brave Covid and vote in person which is a got damn travesty. Hopefully once Trump is out we can bring some respectability back along with mail in voting and a federal holiday.
Luckily, turnout has been up for Dems in alot of these races post virus.

Democrats have been voting in person throughout this year, in large numbers. I expect many to show up on Election Day. I’ll be there. If you can just take the day off work.

Na
Ah okay.

Is that supposed to absolve him? Everything you wrote is either listed in the tweet and/or the article itself.

It's pretty simple, either Sanders blocked the package of appointees, which you don't seem to be disputing, or he didn't. If he did, then, yes, the current situation is in part his fault. The author's background is irrelvant in this context.

Here's a WaPo article that frames Sanders as a postal "champion" mentioning Sanders blocked those appointees.

Here's an NALC post that mentioned the same package not being able to advance because of two appointees.
Nah its not simple

Context matters

Not at all. It probably seemed like a good idea when everyone still thought Trump wouldn't win. Dems also thought they'd get a slim Senate majority.

Its terrible in hindsight.

EDIT: just saw the records of 3 of the nominees. :scust: I understand now why Bernie blocked them
Obama tried to nominate shyt to the USPS. Its really his fault.

Micheal Cohen said it himself Trump will not allow a peaceful transition to power. He already is setting the stage to declare election fraud when he loses. His base will eat it up. The far right have made this become their last stand and think Trump is the only one who stand in the way of the liberals. If he loses his supporters won't move on. There will be acts of violence. shyt is going to get messy. Someone said it best when conservatives stop believing in the electoral process that is when democracy dies. Hence why Trump is doing everything he can to cheat to win and if he loses he will just plunge this country into an electoral crisis. And once he is out his supporters will be agents of chaos to try destabilize the country. :francis:

Didn't democracy already die when George W. Bush stole the election in 2000?

The message changes depending on the race, but the idea is the same.
