Biden was already the modest favorite to win the election before the pandemic; Trump's approval numbers have averaged low 40s his ENTIRE office - presidents almost never get reelected with those numbers - all he had going for him was the economy and even THAT was not as great as touted unless you were upper class or elite, and the recession started earlier than the pandemic - we were overdue - and Twitler was running off Obama's fumes, born on 3rd base acted like he hit a triple

He’s a historically unpopular president from day one. He won with 46% of the vote. The worst performance in an election without a viable 3rd party candidate.

He beat Hillary because she had the second worst unfavorable numbers in presidential candidate history behind Trump.
