I like Whitmer (voted for her) but right now I think Warren or Kamala is a better choice.

Main issue with Whitmer is that she's only been governor since 2018, would look kind of bad for her to leave the job that soon. And I'd hate for Michigan to get another Republican governor in 2022.


IMO Whitmer needs to chill in the cut until 2024.

My confidence in Whitmer 2024 is a big reason why I'm good with her being VP right now. Ideally, Biden's VP would be THE candidate in 2024. That way we avoid a primary fight and just have a smooth transition.

Idk why, I've mentioned this before, but I still get empty suit vibes from Kamala. I don't mind her as VP right now, but I can't see her leading the party in 2024.

One thing to consider is that the VP choice will be the 2024 Democratic Presidential nominee. Biden needs to choose someone that's qualified to be President ASAP, and the person best able to win the 2024 election. I think that only leaves Warren and Kamala Harris. (I don't like Kamala's chances either tbh)
