I didn't rule it out I said it'd be close. You are acting like Biden would get washed. Trump was not the 'unbeatable' force that some were trying to portray him as. You just said it yourself...

After all this... you just said that Biden wins MI and "maybe WI/PA" ...that's enough to win the election. Trump cannot win a Hilary state. It's laughable to even think about it. So that leaves the Rust Belt where Biden was always going to perform better than her.

I know history... but we had never had a President as unlikable as Trump, Trump gets his people to the polls, he also gets people who despise him to the polls and Joe is "safe" to the white suburbans.
at the end of the day, fukk arguing about it. the orange fakkit is outta here

but its interesting to think about. he put up what, 74 million votes WITH the virus  the fact is that most independents and moderates would have probably looked past trumps character flaws with a good economy

I watch his videos too but his mistake is thinking all these people have political principals and policies they want enacted. The common Trump supporter isn't behind the man because of his principals. Trump's only principal is further himself by any means necessary.

People cheer Trump on like they cheer on a sports team. Trump isn't even really a republican he's just exploiting their base because for decades that party breed people to bow down to them unquestionably. Trump simply stepped in and dialed up their dog whistle racism and the like to bullhorn levels.
I think the point isn’t to target Trump supporters. He said that at the jump.

You gotta push big ideas and help people. Convince people that they need this. Dems have failed to do that since the 60s. And I’m not talking slogans and phrases, I mean big ideas.

I'm :dead: that after 80 million votes, taking back MI/PA/WI and winning GA and AZ as a Dem that the discussion you guys want to have is not how Biden has a damn mandate.. This was an ass-kicking. It's not a close election on any level. Biden washed Trump. We celebrated for two seconds and then started with the "woe is me" bullshyt in here...

He washed Trump. It's time to start acting like it.

Trump got himself impeached trying to dig up dirt on Biden. This idea that Trump was just gonna wash Biden without Covid is dumb and even Team Trump knew that.

Way too many factors change in an alternate non-Covid universe to say what would've happened. Campaign messaging is completely different but also Biden would actually have in-person GOTV.

Without the Senate, Biden will have to attempt to do everything worthwhile via Executive Order, which will be obstructed by the GOP at every turn because MAGA is the soup of the day for the foreseeable future.

It's a pyrrhic victory at best :yeshrug:

Everyone on here needs to make right wing social media accounts and start trolling hard...

We need to run that voter deterrence game...

These are the dumbest people on the planet, very easy to convince to stay home...Just parrot what you heard in that video with a MAGA fukk yea at the end...
I hope you are right, but never in my life have Republicans really sat out an election.

The 74 million votes doesn't surprise. These cacs got their retard cousins to the polls. Trump has the ability to energize both sides. 2016 already showed once again what this country is all about.. Cacs hate what America "looks like" and they are fearful of losing their position. That's not going away. Trump was the "right guy" at the right time but this is only the beginning of this party's movement to the far right.

The 'civil war' we've been talking about since even before Trump is already here.

Trump absolutely got washed but I think we're all holding our celebrations for when he's officially sworn in because at that point we'll know the results of the senate run off. IMO its just hard to celebrate properly when we don't know if fixing this country is gonna be done by the Democratic party as a whole or Joe Biden via EOs. Turtle losing his power will be the ideal ending of the Donald Trump saga so I'm saving my liver until then:myman:

Good point. Biden was always the guy that they most feared. And Biden has that same "untouchable" aura that concerned people about Trump where nothing really sticks to him... they tried with the "creepy Joe" shyt and nobody gave a shyt at all. It went nowhere.

If Trump had 80 million votes and flipped some dark blue states I can't imagine what the discussions would be. It'd be along the lines of "He's gonna be able to talk his shyt and do whatever he wants!"

Biden washes him and the discussion is "not a real win" :dead:
Breh people were miserable in here the day after the election even though it was obvious Biden won. They were already saying the house and senate was lost in 2022.:dead: Meanwhile conservatives were celebrating the results even though they lost the fukking presidency.:mjlol:

many economists forecasted a recession would occur in 2020 before COVID-19. we’d had eighteen straight quarters of growth

from a report written in april 2019

“There is a real possibility that the U.S. economy could slip into recession sometime in the next 18 months; this risk is due largely to excessive interest rate increases in recent years and a likely fading of fiscal stimulus.”

What should we know about the next recession?
