Biden's speech on the virus is today. I can't think of better timing/luck. Not saying I'm rooting for the virus, I want Trump to be successful on this. But after tonight's speech it's even more clear he's in over his head and will spend the next week trying to cover up instead of fixing shyt. Biden doesn't even have to knock it out the park today to win this issue.

just out of curiosity.

What progressive policy proposals did Hillary propose that we missed out on by her not being president?
.
people like bernie and elizabeth warren should/would have been writing bills to put on her desk :what:

meanwhile, she would have put progressive 2 justices on the supreme court compared to what trump appointed :what:

if you cant see why it's better to vote for the lesser of two evils in the general after 2016, i dont know how to take progressives seriously :yeshrug:

I was trying to find that Biden VP thread but didn’t have any luck. This may be the most important VP pick of all time (Besides FDR picking Truman over Wallace) considering it is a good possibility Biden won’t complete his first term if elected, and definitely wont run for a second term. I would like to see Ayanna Pressley as VP. I think she can be a compromise pick. She is a Squad member and a good progressive. However, she is not as far left or controversial as the other Squad members. I think she is a pick most people can get behind. I think she could do more for the ticket than Kamala, it Stacey Abrams.

i think kamala is far more ready to be president than ayana pressley :yeshrug: stacey abrams too. because what you're saying is right, so we need someone who's ready to step into the job on day 1

frankly, i dont want biden running with anyone on the squad. it's just not a good idea :dead:

How is Stacey more ready? She only been a state representative. Kamala will have the same problems that she had when she ran for president. Her record on criminal justice is just as bad as Biden’s record. I don’t think she would excite the people that Biden need to bring in.

Biden's VP is going to be someone safe and maybe charismatic.

Ideally someone who's capable of running the show if he goes down and has an interest and doing the politicking for the executive.

I dont think the VP pick has been viewed as an electoral successor for quite some time.

I agree 100%.

Ayanna also is able to navigate between the black establishment and the liberal part of the party seamlessly. She’s the only one on the squad I fukk with.

But I don’t think Biden will pick her. She’s barely been in office and she supports m4all.

Yep these guys keep recommending people who haven't even been in government 2 years.

There are a lot more, mature, people who would be a better pick. I don't get it.
Tammy Duckworth. Get on board brehs.
