its crazy that we already DID the "bernie lost, so im staying home" thing in 2016, and trump won...and he got in there and did everything the opposite of what progressives want

and now, instead of learning from that, bernie supporters are proposing doing it again :laff: how much of a fukking CHILD do you have to be to do this twice?

bernie voters who stay home in november not only dont deserve progressive policies, but are proving that theyll never get them :yeshrug:

I agree with Cenk. @Pressure I think the way Cenk is talking could work on some of them. Cenk is not pretending Biden is something he’s not, but he is letting them know that Trump is much worse.
why does he have to let them know that trump is worse? :laff:

they cant figure it out? does this idiot think shes closer to her goals since trump is president now instead of hillary?

I plan on writing in Bernie. However the way this administration is handling this coronavirus situation is beyond disturbing. Might have to bite the bullet and vote Biden.

But the establishment should be very worried. There are many progressives who are completely put off by the way the DNC handled Bernies campaign and WILL NOT vote for Biden. There are already calls for going 3rd party. Biden really needs to make some concessions to the progressive wing of the party.
How did the DNC handle Bernie's campaign....

THIS TIME THEY ARE SURE that 4 more years of Trump will lead to a progressive wave.:francis:

The last 4 years leading to a moderate wave unlike their predictions don't factor in.

just out of curiosity.

What progressive policy proposals did Hillary propose that we missed out on by her not being president?
Let’s not pretend like centrist Dems aren’t just as pro corporate and pro war as republicans. Deporter and Middle East Droner In Chief Obama already proved that. Business as usual. Defense contractor and pharmacy stocks skyrocket after Biden Super Tuesday....I wonder why they’d skyrocket with Mr “Yes to the Iraq war” taking the lead hmmmmmmmmmmmm :jbhmm:

They’re left wing on social shyt like planned parent hood and gay rights. Wooptyyyy fukking dooo :mjlol: progressives really missed out there.

Fcking revisionist :laff:
  • A 100-days jobs plan: Break through Washington gridlock to make the boldest investment in good-paying jobs since World War II. Hillary will fight to pass a plan in her first 100 days in office to invest in infrastructure, manufacturing, research and technology, clean energy, and small businesses. She will strengthen trade enforcement, and she’ll say no to trade deals like TPP that don’t meet a high enough bar of creating good-paying jobs. And she will make the U.S. the clean energy superpower of the world—with half a billion solar panels installed by the end of her first term and enough clean, renewable energy to power every home in America within 10 years of her taking office.
  • Make debt free college available to all Americans. Hillary will make college debt-free, and she’ll provide relief for Americans with existing debt by allowing them to refinance their student loans.
  • Rewrite the rules so that more companies share profits with employees—and fewer ship profits and jobs overseas. Hillary will reward companies that share profits and invest in their workers, and she will raise the minimum wage to a living wage. She will crack down on companies that shift profits overseas to avoid paying U.S. taxes, and she’ll make companies that export jobs give back the tax breaks they’ve received in America. She will defend existing Wall Street reform and push for new measures to strengthen it.
  • Make certain that corporations, the wealthy, and Wall Street pay their fair share.Hillary will pay for her economic priorities and avoid adding to the national debt by ensuring the wealthiest Americans and the biggest corporations pay their fair share. For example, she’ll fight for the Buffett Rule, close the carried interest loophole, and impose a new surcharge on multi-millionaires and billionaires.
  • Enact policies that meet the challenges families face in the 21st-century economy.Hillary will make it possible for parents to succeed at work and at home by updating outdated laws so they match how families work today. She will fight for equal pay and guarantee paid leave, two changes that are long overdue. And she will provide relief from the rising costs of necessities like child care and housing, while taking steps to provide Americans with greater retirement and health care security.

Compare this to Trumps tax cuts, Education loan fckery, lobbyist shill cabinet where every loan sharks is eating

almost none of that is a concrete Lmao. "in my first 100 days I will pass a plan" bruh where is the plan? Some "Give me heat THEN I'll add the wood" Logic there

Bernie: I'll wipe out student loan debt.

Hillary: I'll refinance student loan debt

Oh how progressive of her :mjlol:

Only concrete thing I saw was in regards to rich paying a fair share because it states what she'll do to accomplish that.

And cite your sources please :stopitslime: how old are we.

And to your last point wasn't Obamas cabinet essentially hand picked by wall St :mjlol: didn't he extend the Bush tax cuts :mjlol: ?

I hear you on that, Ibut this argument is poor. Because much like republicans not a single Dem or other not named Warren or Sanders supports M4A.
Pete - No
Biden - No
Amy - No
Booker - No
Bloomberg - No
Harris a first no, then yes, then back to no

So our options are no M4A with Dems are no jus like M4A with Republicans. So explain how exactly progressives stand any better chance with centrists if the result is the same either way? :jbhmm:

And in regards to judges, Didn't Obama put up centrist Merick Garrland and got told to shove it by Republicans. Seems like centrists can't get their judges through either :lolbron:

It’s just weird to me the arguments from the center.

“hey guys, the chances of pushing forth major progressive legislation you’re asking for is nil, especially since we don’t support it. However, you should vote for us because they(the opposition) DEFINITELY don’t support it. So while your chances are near 0 on our side and straight up 0 on their side. Near 0 is better than straight up 0! vote here please! And look, we got new LGBT rainbow ballot boxes, you guys like this kind of stuff right? :smugbiden:

Two sides of the same coin.

Emotions and hurt feelings lead people to make irrational decisions. Especially if you feel like your side is treated unfairly. When it looked like Bernie was about to win I had to give the same talk to one of my older cousins. She despises Bernie because she liked Hillary Clinton. I had to literally convince her that Bernie wasn’t a evil old fukk.
