It's unlikely but I guess it's not out of the realm of possibility. I just don't see how they would go through all the lengths to sandbag Bernie and hand the fruits to Biden just to open back up the door for a Bernie return.
It's also just as possible, but again unlikely IMO, that Biden himself calls it quits before then. I don't really understand why Biden went through with a 2020 run to begin with. Clear mental decline, decades long career in politics, myriad of family issues, etc. I don't see what he personally benefits from the stress and pressure of a drawn out presidential campaign at his age.
Ain't shyt stopping them from going he's sick or blah blah blah and putting someone in his place that they actually believe can win after they get Bernie up out the paint.
I dont think theyre gonna let Bernie take it but I can totally see them swaping out Biden, the dude is literally in decline. they dont want to risk that when it seems like anyone semi competent can beat trump. Cuomo more than anybody has been given like the Democrat face of this crisis while Trump is handling it like shyt. They could easily convince people to vote for Cuomo and get Biden out of there. but I suppose if you go to the convention and Biden does drop out, you can have a case that Bernie has the second most delegates. so why should Cuomo out of nowhere be gifted the nom. at least it would be up in the air. though im sure Cuomo would get it. but I mean, Biden is saying the VP may need to IMMEDIATELY take over. thats insane like what are people electing Biden for 6 months ? so given those cirumstances. Cuomo could def be put in there. I think he has a much better shot than like mayo pete or klob or bloomberg if they tried to gift them the nom
