Why did y’all believe in a revolutionary who had no track record of even getting any of his basic agenda through in 15+ years as a senator?
It's quite a bit easier to believe in somebody when you know what they really think and would really fight because they have integrity and a track record that provides receipts on their conviction. The fact that
his basic agenda, which
is at odds with the control system from all angles isn't something we see as a failure. It's a signal, to those who are aligned with him politically and philosophically to believe in our selves and actually join him in the fight because it can't be done by a single man, hence Not me, Us.
Why believe someone’s Michael Jordan when he’s never made a shot? (Only analogy I can think of)
I have an analogy that makes a little more sense.
Soldiers who see their general willing to fight with them in the field believe in and fight that much harder for the cause. Not because they know the outcome will be in their favor, or that their leader will even make it out of the battle alive to keep shyt rolling, but because it's important.
