These types of movies are insulting, they pretend to do some meta critique of the genre, but the end result is the same, superficial Hollywood people making movies that reflect their values, and then ranting on twitter about it, like this is what's important to you. As much as I love movies, a lot of the industry, and culture and just economics is just repulsive to me.

The movie no one was asking for, and something I'll never watch, but when it's all said and done, the movie will probably be a financial success. I'm just waiting for Black Adam.

Even some of the movie he starred that were hits, I'm sure the studios were hoping for bigger numbers (i.e. "G.I. Joe Retaliation", "Pain & Gain", and "Hercules")

Hercules made $244 million worldwide

Gi Joe and snitch are the two I'll give you. I'm talking anything post fast five and his rebranding himself getting back into action flicks etc

It's not about me believing it'll be excellent but I'm also not the type to say a movie will be bad without seeing a single frame of it. All I'm saying is, the man, at this point, can do whatever he wants and more than likely it'll be successful. It's not like people were saying 21 jump street would be a hit or a good movie or did I miss that?

:patrice: I admit that all the TV spots looked entertaining & funny, so I thought this would end up being a hit seeing it constantly be promoted.
