Very good movie, definitely enjoyed it more than 2. My only complaint is that I would have liked a bit less of the other police characters and more just Will & Martin. But I suspect as others have said they could be looking to start a film series.
Not sure how old Marcus’ wife is supposed to be but she aged terribly

25 YEARS LATER........that's wild to have a Franchise go that long. I remember it like it was yesterday. 90's Forever. Ironically "A Goofy Movie" came out the same day too, lol.

ok this kind of answers my question...and they’ll probably have mike lowery’s son be the new head of the team...I won’t be watching if that’s the case...absolutely none of these characters have the personality/chemistry that smith and lawrence have
as martin is...he still brought a great deal to the table...I enjoyed his performance in this...dude had me ctfu...he held the film down imodamn...that’d been dope

That's a reach imo.
Just complete nonsense. Even the timeline of this "son" didn't make sense. 24 years ago Mike and Marcus were already partners for awhile.
AMMO didn't excite me in the slightest...and Martin absolutely should have been made Captain. He wouldn't be consistently in extreme danger but would be involved and provide the laughs. I didn't see the so called chemistry between Mike and Rita either

Loop holes aside I really enjoyed this film. I like how they tone down the comedy especailly for the Mike role.

It was good and definitely wasn't as bad as I expected it to be....but I missed the over the top fukkery of BB2. I didn't find Isabela as interesting a villain as Johnny Tapia. Making that dude Mike's son didn't really make much sense either. Vanessa Hudgen's character was looking like Laura from Street Fighter V lol.
The original will always be the GOAT, but it was good to see them back it. I wish Michael Bay would have directed it though.
