So, I've used mt X for a little over a day. The screen is nice, but I wish it were bigger. I'd buy an X+ in a second. The notch is not too bad, but it is noticeable. My problem is that a lot of apps don't use the full-screen of the X. It seriously minimizes the screen real estate.
The OLED screen is obviously nice, but the whites are a bit off. I have the same problem with my LG 4K oled TV. Blacks are great, but the whites are not as clear as I would like.
I paid over $1K for my 256gb X, so I kinda expect perfection. Right now, I think the X is overpriced.

I had that shyt on my surfacebook1, but apple’s version works at a lot of different angles. shyt’s nice.
Though I do worry about cops just placing my phone in front of my face...

as long as you not looking (directly) at it, it wont work. or you can just disable it by pressing the power button in rapid succession (I forget how many times)Side note: Face ID is amazing

Man people on Mac Rumors be on this shyt hard. Some have it down to know which place their phone is on when shipping to their home, and freaking out when they thought it was on one UPS place but ended up going to a later one and thinking the phone will be shipped a day or so later.

How to temporarily disable Face ID on iPhone X
- Press and hold the Side button and either one of the volume buttonssimultaneously.
- Tap Cancel if you're looking to unlock your phone or just tap the Side button to turn off the display.
- Enter your password the next time you want to unlock your iPhone X. Face ID should resume its normal function at that time
