Tax was a bytch though. Moved 5 minutes away from my old house in a different zip code and tax was $100 more

why does the power adapter matter? when I first clicked on it, it had the lower power adapter, but once I updated the processor and RAM, it automatically defaulted me to the 96W. does this one mean fast charging?

Nah, not yet. The 27 inch iMac, the high end Mac mini and the Mac Pro are still using Intel CPUs.

This was a huge step in that direction though. All of Apple's laptops going forward are using Apple silicon. Intel is dead in Apple's laptops.

I’d imagine so. My configuration automatically came with it once I went through the education site but I was gonna update the charger anyway since it was only a $20 upgrade. I’m gonna research and see what the extra watts get you
