man you need some time stamps on these.....

breh Boyce is renowned economist....and he has the right to his opinion just like anyone else....

my problem is this...instead of coming up with solutions and a plan....these 2 wasted an hour talking about boyce....and hour that im sure could have been better spent figuring out what we should be doing to better our people....

but what better way to get cheap views
They offer solutions watch the vid. Nothing wrong with watching both. Everyone wants to pick sides it's ridiculous. Their problem is Boyce telling us that we are financially illiterate. Yvette and Tone Talks point out statistics and studies that show black people actually manage their money better then whites. Financial literacy is not African American problems.

To most people there isn't no problem so why should they think its a problem because you think its a problem? For most people if their family/friends straight they don't really have much problem with life so where are their problems at?

If you grew up a little more privilaged than most and thats all you and your circle knew then you could say that. Fact is most of our people are surviving not thriving.

Boyce is absoultely right here. There is no possible way blacks can be more financially literate than whites when WHITES CREATED THE fukkING SYSTEM.

Boyce is on a higher plane and attempting to educate blacks to ways to take advantage of the system any possible way they can. Stuff that most whites are taught by their parents. The financial illiteracy gap between the groups is astonishing. Yvette and Tone are on a simplistic handout seeking mentality. Its disgusting.

he is little?? :why:

wow....he seemed like a LARGE DUDE on the camera...

you seen him in person? :ohhh:

Usually I only see his little smug know it all face on camera. On the surface he comes off like that diminutive midget who has to prove his superior intelligence. So he might be a regular sized dude or even a big guy, but he's got little man traits. Not a Tyler stan but I didn't care for the way Boyce affected his money. That's little man behavior. He's got that neighbor with his nose in the air don't ride your bike on my sidewalk vibe, lookin out the curtains to be sure. And he's a YouTube intellectual. He'd be in public access channel if not for social media.

St Louis Rams!!!!!
Why can't black people see that BOTH POVs are necessary???

Yvette/Antonio keep black people realistic about our economic situation. Boyce/Anderson gives solutions about how to get some piece of the American pie despite racism. All four support reparations. What is there to argue about? This is so foolish.

My goddamn self. Shout out to my real Africans
Antonio and Yvette use data and not rhetoric and platitudes and that makes their detractors furious.

Yes community building and organizing via group economics or other tools is important.

But Government creates wealth, it created the White working and middle class.

That's not debatable.

And without that type of help, we will be a permanent underclass.

And that means challenging and overturning a capitalist political ecnomy undergirded by government policy.

Its not about a handout but economic justice. Considser analogy she used towards the end of the vvideo about a woman getting most of her money stolen and coming back home to her spouse only to tell her to make due with what she has left. Pretending we dont deserve justice only perpetuates a cycle of failure and victim blaming.

Perception does not equal reality.

Example: Rodney King only got his ass whipped but the black residents of Metro LA were conscious that it was a systemic...

You guessed it!

Problem.

anglos got taken care of and Africans got taken advantage of but that slavery thing was so long ago but we have archaeologists digging up dinosaur bones.
