In so many words they called out Boyce for pushing the idea that we can thrive economically without serious goverment intervention aimed at correcting the inequalities following from centuries of exploitation of our ancestors. They made a pretty solid case backed with hard data. In my opinion black people could pool what capital we have and channel it into political mobilization while at the same time practicing group economics. What we shouldnt do is throw our hands up and quit making demands or putting pressure on politicians we help put in office.
