The 215
Perception does not equal reality.

Example: Rodney King only got his ass whipped but the black residents of Metro LA were conscious that it was a systemic...

You guessed it!

Problem.

anglos got taken care of and Africans got taken advantage of but that slavery thing was so long ago but we have archaeologists digging up dinosaur bones.
Its all perception though that's kinda my point. Your perception isn't mine and vice versa.

Where are these economics you all speak?

What are these economics you all speak of?

Good luck building any of that without some level of favourable government policy to aid you all in creating wealth.

And that's my issue with folks who speak on economics and Black Capitalism,

Without government policy to redistribute wealth and land, that regulates banks, group economics is just something to make Black people feel good, when the problem is much bigger.

We are fighting systems. We are in this predicament by design, because we have been robbed of our wealth and labor.

If that's not addressed with reparations or significant governmental policy that redistributes wealth, land, taxation and other tools, it is what it is.

If a system is working as designed, then systems must be changed

Practicing group economics in a system designed to make you a permanent underclass is ridiculous

But keep missing point. Lol

I have say Boyce is telling the truth.

I am in business for myself and have been successfully for the last 3 years. I won't be working for any cac ever again.

Say what you want about Boyce I can't ignore his results. I don't get involved in the Youtube political discussions because it's simply that...just two people talking shyt and sitting there.

At the end of the day what have those two people done except purchase a webcam, create a YouTube account, log on and talk shyt?

What classes does she teach? What experience does she have besides simply getting online and giving her opinion?

Antonio and Yvette use data and not rhetoric and platitudes and that makes their detractors furious.

Yes community building and organizing via group economics or other tools is important.

But Government creates wealth, it created the White working and middle class.

That's not debatable.

And without that type of help, we will be a permanent underclass.

And that means challenging and overturning a capitalist political ecnomy undergirded by government policy.
You telling me Facebook, Microsoft, etc are all created by the government? Hell Bad Boy, fubu, Tyler Perry, Oprah, were also created by the government? I'm sure the government can do more but I think for the most part people create their own wealth or lack of it. Its just easier to talk about what other forces you have no control over aren't doing instead of yourself and more people will listen to that also. Self responsibility isn't something most wanna deal with.

I addressed this in my post you quoted, and I'll say it again. Statistics tells us blacks have 47% financial literacy and whites just 45%. African Americans save and manage money better. Anyways you a cac, don't reply to my post fakkit. You bytch ass white people want to tell us our economic hardships is our fault when it's not. fukk off.

You think I'm white? :laff:

Here we go with the straw man arguments and moving the goal posts in the calling for solutions.

Read the Blueprint for Black Power like I have by Amos Wilson for solutions. It's full of practical things one can do.

You all accuse Yvette and Antonio by being defeatist when you all are doing the same thing when it comes to politics and government.

I'm not attaching the ideas of Black business, group economics. I think that they are important.

But ultimately without major overhauls to how current systems operate, we will always be a day late and a dollar short.

That's it.

I only came into this thread cause I love my people and I thought this convo could possibly be constructive.

It's not.

Ya be cool.

Yes. Government redistributes wealth, and land. It's a big component of the capitalist political economy.

The bootstraps theory is American propoganda

And it's worked beautifully

How the fukk do you intend to overturn the government when you can't even get a fair shake from the government? You people are talking about forcing the government to make amends for the atrocities that it has committed against blacks when you can't even get the government to stop committing atrocities against blacks. Before the government can ever make amends for what it has done to oppress us, it would have to stop oppressing us.

The government is not going to help black people. You soft shoes need to get that through your thick ass heads and start thinking of alternative solutions. If you can't think of it don't believe in any solutions outside of government assistance/intervention then just shut the fukk up and stop downing those who do believe in solutions outside of white help.

Bold is bullshyt. Tbh its not like this thread has folks posting some slick talk. Its just people on both sides agreeing/disagreeing. Your version of constructive seems to be people agreeing with you. That's just not going to always happen fam.

Bootstraps isn't propaganda at all. People have made it from humble beginnings before and will continue to do so. Some just like looking for handouts without putting in any real work. That's regardless of race too and those people always have complaints of what someone else needs to do to help them make it.
