I'm assuming that Boyce did that b/c he's been getting periodically banned on Facebook. Plus YouTube is demonetizing any content that appears to be racist/problematic.

I'm all for circling black dollars among black people as much and as often as we possibly can. But if there is no black alternative for Facebook/YouTube, should we wait until a black alternative is created? IMO, the best response is to use mainstream platforms until you can (1) find a black owned & operated option & switch services or (2) work with mainstream outlets until you can learn enough to build the black owned platform yourself.

One thing I will say though. While I am highly annoyed with this back and forth, Boyce is getting a taste of his own medicine. This reminds me of the riff he had with Umar Johnson. They all need to keep it cute.

And again, the saddest part of it all is that we need all three and more: (1) Yvette/Antonio to keep us financially realistic & politically engaged (2) Boyce to build entrepreneurship & side hustles for more wealth and (3) Umar to build more schools that are attentive to the needs of black children opposed to the select few that are chosen for charter schools.

Their video is a tough watch because of the bad sound and lighting and the screeching tone

What they were saying was so on point. In so many words they called out Boyce for pushing the idea that we can thrive economically without serious goverment intervention aimed at correcting the inequalities following from centuries of exploitation of our ancestors. In other words Boyce advocates a bootstraps approach when the issue really begins with us pushing a political agenda that directly addresses the reasons it is virtualy impossible for us to close the wealth gap in America just by practicing group economics.

Yvette from what I've seen is very defeatist.
There will be huge differences between how the two think anyway. Yvette identifies as a socialist. Boyce a capitalist. Both I respect.

Where are we now? Where has falling for the illusion of inclusion gotten us? Name the public policies that have improved the black community.

I'm saying that the game is sewed. The system is rigged and you can't fix it from within, you can only be corrupted by it. The government is not going to stop enforcing white supremacy and it's a waste of time trying to end white supremacy thru the system.

My solution is black empowerment. Whites have mastered the art of deception. They have mastered the art of openly practicing racism while maintaining deniability. They've been able to do this because they've established an unspoken code which is "white over everything else". Blacks have to establish a "black first" code even if it means being deceptive.

It's a great video. I understand the argument of no mentions of solutions. True but an alarming rate, especially this upcoming generation, blacks don't realize there's a problem to begin with. So, in their eyes, there's nothing to be solved.

my problem is this...instead of coming up with solutions and a plan....these 2 wasted an hour talking about boyce....and hour that im sure could have been better spent figuring out what we should be doing to better our people....

There is nothing you can do to do bold. That's where cats fukk up at in the first place. What can I do to help my people. Outside of family and friends you have no "people". To help those closest to you you do the same shyt you doing now if you doing good and if not look for better ways to improve yourself. shyt isn't hard tbh just people like talking instead of actually doing.

To most people there isn't no problem so why should they think its a problem because you think its a problem? For most people if their family/friends straight they don't really have much problem with life so where are their problems at?
