The nexus won't be on a carrier anytime soon because of what the nexus phone is. Its a niche product for a certain android crowd. It can't be compromised on a cdma carrier. Nexus can't be another android device

That's why I'm hoping that next year Google will feed Sprint block with another nexus phone since we can't get this one.

Guess I'll check on used Galaxy Nexus's too.

I need 32 gb or a micro sd card slot. That's the only thing stopping me really but I really need that.

Also cloud not an option. I travel usually using the underground, which I do a lot or by air.

Do you really use 16gb of important stuff on your phone. They give you an option of nexus 7+ nexus 4. They are sold together. We are a consumption society. If you need anything from the cloud it can be made available off line

the htc evo lte is a solid phone that you can get cheap on eBay. You can probably get one for about $250ish if you buy it now and search by newly listed items.

I do, I manage about 30 gb of data on my phone and I wouldn't want to be tied to regularly transferring data and deleting from cloud or pc. I don't want to change the way I do things on my phone and feel tied to deleting data etc. I can rock with 32gb but because of how I work I can't do with 16gb. Simply won't work. Surely a 32gb version is coming soon?

Every company is moving towards the cloud its called an ecosystem. Apple has their icloud service which makes swithing devices simple and easy. It backs up everything. Google has one but its in the background. When you set up your google account and signin everything restore and sync and all your info is saved. People are reluctant to move to the cloud because they are used to internal storage. They are some cases where you might need 32 GB of storage but those are extreme cases. The most popular ipad is the 16 GB version and the most popular nexus tablet is the 16 GB version. So why is the cloud important. One reason is because it make switching devices seamlessly and pain free. No more transferring files back and forth. Thanks to the cloud Now you can install dropbox, google drive and box on your desktop and drag and drop. The files are immediately saved to that particular app on your device and to the cloud. So this is how you maximize the cloud.

The Files Cloud System

1. Install dropbox, google drive, skydrive and box program on your PC. Then sign up for all of the service. They give you 5GB free storage.

2. Install the app on your device. Sign in. When on your PC drag and drop files into the either of the programs. Go to your device open the app then you have the option of keeping it in the cloud or save to your phone.

I've been fukkin with Google Music heavy now that I've gotten used to it. The only thing that sux is that I'm in Canada right now on business and don't have a lot of music stored locally on my phone, it's all in the cloud. And I refuse to get taken to the cleaners by Sprint by turning on my data here.
